I'm back. From Japan!

The trip was awesome. Like a dream come true. Seriously.

I'll be changing to a different blog soon. And blogging an extremely long post about this trip. You can expect a lot of praises of Japan. XD And a lot of photos on facebook as well.

Right now, my favorite place in Tokyo is definitely Shibuya. It's really a good place for Jpop fans like me. And their HMV has a Johnny's corner. I wish Singapore's HMV has one too. ><

And yes, I LOVE JAPAN. XD

Loads of things to write these days...

First, Iphone software update! The night I updated, I practically shrieked about how every single new function is so cool! Haha. It can multi-task! I can create folders (which I am so thankful for, because I have too many pages on my phone)!!! I can access itunes!!!! (though it's only podcasts in there) I can download videos from the net!!! (Haven't tried that yet, though) And I can't remember what else there are... But anyways, the whole night I was checking out all the fantastic new features, and my favorite is the multi-tasking and folders. :P Oh, and, the home screen has a wallpaper too! Was really excited when I saw Nino on home screen, but well, almost the whole face was covered by the apps. ^^;

Next, Knight and Day. The movie. I hadn't planned to watch it, but my mum wanted to watch it (because of Tom Cruise. :P), so we watched. I was not too interested in action movies, but this movie is really good! From the start to end, I was cracking up the whole time. It's just hilarious. And Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz are really good at acting. They're really natural with each other, and their interaction was really funny. It's pretty fast-paced and you can never get bored at any part. At the start, I was kinda confused though... hehe. Oh, and there really an overuse of drugs. They just drug each other too many times. Nevertheless, it's a really good movie.

Last weekend, I attended my Basic Theory Lesson for driving. Totally forgot about that. Yeah, the lessons weren't boring, because the man who taught us was quite funny. He made us laugh quite a lot. It's quite enriching, and serves a review of the driving theory. And of course, we have to watch incidents of driving accidents. One was extremely serious... argh... *cringe*

I cannot attend the Computer Engineering camp because of my Japan trip. It clashes. Sigh. But oh well.

Speaking of my Japan trip, it's become anticipating and intimidating at the same time. It's my first time to Japan, so I'm really excited about it. But that is a country that uses a totally different language from what I speak. I'd have to meet many people and try to converse with my pathetic broken Japanese. And there might not be many people who can actually speak English. I expect being extremely lost in my trip. Thankfully the ticket machines have English functions too. But still, in restaurants? Looking at menus? I bet most menus don't have English words on it. Oh no! And some restaurants come with rules of how to order their food and all... And loads of things... Scary....

But I'm still excited!!!! I'm gonna take loads of photos!!!! ^^ And I'll have fun! Totally! I'll just have to be like Aiba, and not worry about getting laughed at. Haha.

Arashi new single will be released on Tanabata! ^^

Why does Starhub Tv have KBS and not TBS? I didn't even know I have KBS. Must be a free channel. I did watch a tiny bit of "The Lucifer" on it once, and ended up comparing every single scene with Maou. Mwahaha. Evil me.

And why must that Kdrama be so freaking frustrating? Last week I was watching one episode, and I feel like punching that stupid male main character... that fickle two-timing idiot. Why must plots always be like that? Somehow, I always end up siding with the pitiful side character. I really cannot stand frustrating storylines. :(

Is it me or is one episode of Kdrama longer than one episode of Jdrama?

Japanese Singers

I am so bored. Sigh. And it's raining heavily outside, so my laptop here runs the risk of blacking out in the case of a power trip. Sigh.

Oh well.

I am addicted to listening to some Japanese female singers nowadays. Of course Arashi will still be number 1, but these female singers are really good. Not that they can sing a large range of notes or are super pro, but I really like their voice and the way they sing songs.

First, Otsuka Ai. Maybe people might find her voice annoying when she sings those cute songs like Peach or Sakuranbo. But I don't really listen to her cute songs. I really like how she sings ballads. I think she has a voice fit for ballads. The way she sings with so much emotion, and her voice really makes you want to cry while listening to it. She's got a great voice, and she really sings well, especially when she sings while playing piano.

And Otsuka Ai definitely sings better during live than the cd version. Few people are able to do that. She does it so well. I recommend Daisuki da yo and Planetarium. Live versions. I nearly cried while listening to Daisuki da yo live.

Next, Ikimono Gakari. I am so addicted to their songs nowadays. They have the nicest songs, really. Their songs suit those love dramas or movies... like Koizora and all. And the female vocalist has a great voice. The songs' melodies are all really nice. She can sing high notes well. I heard the live version, it wasn't as good as cd version... maybe she was nervous. But I heard another live, and she sang that one really well. She's got a really strong voice that carries very far. Beautiful songs, really.

I recommend Hana wa Sakura Kimi wa Utsukushii and Futari... and many others.

Another one is Ayaka. Mizushima Hiro's wife. She is really good at portraying emotion when she sings. It's like she can really get into the songs she sings, and she sings with so much emotion it seems like she could break down anytime. (But luckily she didn't) She has a really powerful voice, and can pull off high notes wonderfully. She does several people's covers too, and I think her version is even better. There really are no flaws in her singing. She's an amazing singer. And she's humble about it too.

I recommend I Believe and I Love You cover.

On a side note: Ayaka and Hiro always wash their dishes together. Sweet. :)
I think they really suit each other, because Ayaka seems like a really nice person, and Hiro is really a gentle person who cares about others a lot (which thus makes him a brilliant actor, because he pulls off gangster and punk roles excellently). That's what I learnt from their appearances on Domoto Kyoudai. Haha.

Other really good singers are Shibata Jun, Yui, Nakashima Mika, FictionJunction YUUKA, Mizuki Nana and all those female singers who sing anime theme songs. :P I thought Stereopony was good after hearing their songs, but the female vocalist didn't sing that well in live version. She can't really reach her high notes somehow.

Yup. So all these are my favorite Japanese female singers. Male singers are harder to judge, because, well, it's just harder. Somehow I don't really like male singers who sing with too much emotion. In terms of great voices, Nagase Tomoya, Domoto Tsuyoshi, Katori Shingo and Ohno Satoshi have one of the best voices in Johnny's. I hardly ever listen to non-Johnny's male singers, but Hyde and Gackt have really sexy voices. :P

Oh wait, there are some really good male bands too. I recommend Mr. Children and Yuzu. I like these two bands a lot. :) I like Mr. Children's Shirushi and Yuzu's Aitai yo.

My Girl and Aiba

I don't read fanfics about real people, as in when people write about pairings in boybands and all, so Jdrama fanfics are close enough. Today, I happened to stumble across a My Girl and Yamada Taro crossover. I liked it so much I decided to re-read the My Girl manga right now. I realise I like reading My Girl fanfics, because they leave me with a smile. It's so sweet and full of happiness, and at the same time, it's so mild. Just like the drama. Just like the manga.

I will write a My Girl review next time. Hehe.

I watched the Behind the Scenes of My Girl and decided that Aiba will probably be a much better father than Masamune-kun in future. :) I think Aiba's great with kids. And he fails so many times he doesn't fear failure anymore. He dares to do things that are embarrassing, and he laughs it off.

When Aiba decides to do something, he puts in his all into it. Not that Masamune doesn't, but Aiba doesn't think too much. He's simple-minded. I've seen Arashi's Childminder shows, and Aiba's really good with kids. Maybe because Aiba's a kid himself.

Haha. Here I go blabbering about Aiba because I like him too much. Aiba is too adorkable. Too lovable. And too popular with beautiful female celebrities (like Maki, Inoue Mao, etc.).

And I adore Sakuraiba. Okay, this is so random. XD

Now I feel like doing a review on Aiba too. XD

P.S. Koharu-chan loves Arashi!!!!

P.P.S. I love how Aiba always fails at kanji. Loves how he misread Kuroki Meisa's talent of "Tate" (Swordfighting in a play/On-stage swordfighting) to become "Satsujin" (Killing people). XD Aiba, you genius. But because of him I learnt a new kanji.

Weekend

On Friday night, I went to the PC Show. It's crowded, but not extremely. Still I kinda got tired quickly because there were so many people. Bought the Canon IXUS 130 camera. It's pink. :) I wanted a camera with a nice colour. I didn't really like the orange one. So when I saw the pink, I'm like, "Yes, I want that." The camera came with free gifts, including these cute red speakers. ^^ I like the speakers a lot. I plugged into my laptop and watched Arashi, and suddenly their pv turns clearer. Haha. Imagination?

We walked to the laptop section at the PC Show too. I think Acer laptops are nice. There's one with 8 hours battery and is very slim too. Perfect for university. But I didn't buy. Haha. The Sony ones are pretty too, but they're thicker and heavier. Oh wells. Didn't buy any laptops.

Went Kino on Sunday. :) Great trip. Found the Japanese section of Kino really nice. I actually bought a Japanese book. Haha. Out of desperation. I had to get Tokio somehow. I wanted to read that so badly. And this cute little Japanese boy was squealing about Arashi and Ohno-kun! ^^ Cho kawaii!

Even those scary gangsters in Japan know about Arashi!!! Wow. And some even watch HanaDan and cried over it, and decided MatsuJun would be real cool if he became a gangster. Haha! So cool! I'm looking forward to more rankings! Seriously, I think a lot of people in Japan of all ages know Arashi. Makes me happy. ^///^

Waterproof, solar-powered, now the new AU KDDI phone can change keypads to your own liking!!! Seriously, how high-tech can Japanese phones get now?

Yesterday night I downloaded this thing that can watch live Japanese Tv online. Hehe. It's really cool, but sadly the quality isn't very good and it kept lagging. But I'm still happy watching it and I don't mind the lag. No subtitles, as expected, so I had to try to understand what they were saying. But the lag and quality was quite bad, it's really hard to understand anything.

Thankfully yesterday was Thursday. :) At 9pm (10pm in Japan), it was playing Himitsu no Arashi-chan! ^^ The latest episode. Haha. The guest was this female who played in Yankee to Megane-chan. Quite cute. She called Ohno "God". That is exactly what I thought! Ohno is a god! Haha. Kami-sama! I love all the impressions she made about Arashi members. Jun has a face that can be easily created by Wii. Haha! Even though I couldn't understand most of it because of the lag, there were some parts where they had Japanese subtitles to emphasize the stuff that person said at that time. So I read that and it's usually really funny. Haha. I could at least understand that.

And then Arashi had to wear clothes that the girl co-ordinated for them. Some were really weird. I liked Nino's most. Sho's was super funny because he had to wear this gray suit which covered him whole, including his face, so you can't see his face at all! Haha! And then the girl made him wear bunny ears and piled loads of stuffed animals on him. Haha. But in the end, she chose him to be the most attracted member of Arashi. The gray suit helped! Hehe.

I stopped after VIP Room, because Doubt Action wasn't that fun. Sometimes it annoys me. But Nino in Doubt Action is really cool, because he really knows how to mislead people with his acting. :P

I'm gonna watch more of this next time. :) It's so cool. Hope there'll be a Tv in the hotel room when I go to Japan.

Gonna work until end of August, right before school starts. Wah, busy busy busy! Time is so tight.

I will change to wordpress soon. Haha.

Now I keep watching Code Geass on my phone. :) Why is it called Code Geass anyways? But it's a cool name. And Lelouch rocks. But I have a feeling it's becoming like Gundam Seed, where two good friends fight each other. Sad, isn't it? Why can't they adopt a Gundam Wing plot, where all the friends unite against each other? Hope it gets better. Lelouch is evil. I like.

Gonna go to PC show later! Hope to buy a new camera. Think I still stick to Canon. I can't bear to spend too much money on a camera. And I don't think I need loads of effects. I'm not really all that artistic, and I don't really edit photos (I don't know how to). So yeah, a camera that has good photo quality is fine. :)

Pixar

I take back my words on saying there's nothing much going on in my life in my previous post. Yes, there is something to blog about, now that I think of it. The Pixar Exhibition.

I went with Say Hwee there last weekend, and it was really cool! The price wasn't too bad, because it included the 3d movie (which was Toy Story 2 that day) and the entrance to Science Centre as well.

Once we went into the Science Centre, we got lost. At the entrance. Haha. We were like, "Hey wait, isn't this the Science Centre? So where's the Pixar Exhibition?" There were no signs and we were foolish enough not to grab a map before we entered. So we debated on whether to exit, grab a map, and come in again. In the end, we decided against that. Luckily we did, because we found the exhibition inside later. We explored the souvenir shop first because the movie was half an hour later, and we didn't want to go in the exhibition yet, in case it'll take a long time. The shop was filled with all the usual souvenirs, so we just walked around and I spammed Say Hwee with loads of Arashi news... Haha.

And the 3D movie. I realise I've never watched Toy Story 2, but still had a vague image of Jessie in there. So I'm not sure whether it was the original Toy Story 2, or they remade another one for the 3D version. Haha. Neither did Say Hwee. It was a hilarious movie, even though the 3D glasses were heavier than the usual ones at Westmall cinema somehow, and it kept slipping off. So I had to constantly push it up if not I'd be viewing the movie half 3D and half non-3D. But it was a really fun movie, and now I'm tempted to watch the Toy Story 3D movie coming out soon. Haha.

After that, we went to the exhibition. The exhibition was so amazing. It was about how the Pixar artists go about producing a piece of work. They talk about the plot, characters, animation and stuff like that. And there are loads of artwork, such as backgrounds of certain scenes in different forms of art. (I still have no idea what digital media is... is it printed out?) I love the pencil sketching style the most. They even have figures (made by some... resin or something) of characters of their movies displayed. There are also early drafts of ideas of characters, so you can see loads of different ideas for 1 character before deciding on finally using that idea. It's really cool. And I really like the approved drawing from the director. Haha. (It's the cartoon version of his face)

I really cannot believe how gifted all these people are. I do have friends who can draw professionally and one is actually studying under people who work for Pixar. But this is just amazing. I don't get tired of looking at all those drawings at all. I can never be able to draw the same character twice, but all these people have drawn thousands of drawings of the same character (and in different perspectives too) and it just really awes me. The background drawings are extremely good too. They really take into account every single detail. And I'm sure they did a lot of research, such as the ant's structure and perspective in A Bug's Life and the different types of fish and what lies in the ocean in Finding Nemo.

My favorite part must be that turning thing. Okay, only those who's been there will know what that is. Haha. I can't really explain that in words. It's this technique (I think) which inspired by the Bouncing Totoro by Miyazaki Hayao (that's the only thing I could remember from that entire long introduction). It's something like when you draw a character doing something in a book with slightly different actions on every page, and when you flip the book real fast, it becomes a continuous action. In this case, the figurines of one character (in there, there are loads of characters) are positioned in a circle, so when it spins really fast, it's like they become animated (with the help of the flickering light above). Okay, this is confusing. I give up. Just go to the exhibition to view the thing. (Tan Min's blog has a better description. Haha.)

After viewing all those exhibitions, I got really tempted to go to Japan's Studio Ghibli museum, namely the works of Miyazaki Hayao (which has Totoro, Howl's Moving Castle, Ponyo, and all sorts of others). I really want to go there right now. Haha. It's truly amazing.

I feel like I could really spend the whole day in the exhibition. I'm sure you'll like it, if you're interested in art and animation. They have a lot of art pieces over there, so it's really cool.

And we saw the 3D TV, without 3D glasses on. It really is 3D, like it'll pop out and all that. Haha. It'd be cool if families in future will have that, because they wouldn't need to worry about their children sitting too near to the TV. Haha.

After the exhibition, we got hungry, and Macdonald's there was really crowded. So we went off without even visiting the Science Centre itself. Haha. But anyways, that entrance fee plus the movie is only $4. So we just went off to IMM to eat. Pepper Lunch (for dinner)!!!! I got Say Hwee addicted. Yay.

That was a great experience. Now I really want to go to Japan. Haha.

P.S. I want to change to wordpress now because blogger does not accept my Japanese kyaa emoticon. Because they think it's a html opening brace. That's unfair. And wordpress is so much more organized. But wordpress cannot put multiple line breaks. Sad. And I forgot where my livejournal account went. I love wordpress now. Haha.

Why do I hear someone's cellphone ringtone and think it's Spiral by Arashi? Even though it's not. But it sounds like.

Too Fast

I have only Arashi news and nothing much going on my life now, so I'll only blog about Arashi. :P

Arashi is moving too fast! The way this group is progressing... is TOO FAST. Seriously. It seems as if every day there are news about them, and new job offers every single day. It makes me happy, but sometimes I feel like they should rest more. Let's see...

July 7: Release of new single "To Be Free" (when their previous single Monster only just released last month). On the same day, release of Ohno's solo single of the Kaibutsu-kun anime opening theme.
August 4: Release of new album "Boku no Miteiru Fukei" (definitely buying this, don't think can get Limited Edition...:/ But I want.)
And there's also an Arashi concert tour late this year, I think! ....

And more job offers:

Aiba: Musicals. Sad he doesn't get drama/movie offers, but musicals are tiring too.
Nino: Is crazy because last year he already has 2 movie offers for this year and next year, namely Gantz (which will show in Singapore!!! Maybe censored though...) and Ooku (with Horikita Maki!).
Ohno: Has Kaibutsu-kun drama filming... and rumored Kaibutsu-kun movie coming up!
Jun: Has new drama AGAIN. (His previous drama just finished in April this year) It's with Takeuchi Yuko. Title is long so can't remember. (I realise he gets at least 1 drama offer every single year from 2001 onwards.)
Sho: I just found out today, he has a new movie! (This year, he has a drama with Maki, and a documentary, and now a movie?!) He'll be acting as a doctor with Miyazaki Aoi (another famous actress). First lawyer (sort of), now doctor, huh?

Busy busy Arashi. They don't have time to rest, do they?

And I've really begun to respect Nino a lot. For his terrific acting skills and the things he say in magazine interviews. Complex Nino.

Now what Arashi news will I get tomorrow? XD

Short Happiness

I was watching Arashi videos, and realize that their new single "To Be Free" will be released on July 7. And since I'll be in Japan from 10 July onwards or so, this means there will be loads of Arashi new single posters out there in Japan! Which means I'll be taking a lot of Arashi pictures! Haha... Mwa... I got excited for a while. Hehe.

The songs sounds really cool and nice... very hopeful song. (Style's like Pika**nchi Double) Probably a motivational song. Suits the title a lot. I like it already. :)

Today's Sunday. The weekend really ends so quickly.

5 Members?

This is totally Jpop and a bit of Kpop... don't read if not interested. :P

I know I've said this before but Super Junior is coming to Singapore this Sunday. They'll probably be screamed at (in a good way) by loads of their fans on that day. Haha... I'm not all into Kpop, so I won't go stalking them at the airport like what other fans would probably do (the ones who don't get the tickets)... But I expect the showcase to be real short like the others... (my mum's been to one of them)

Now I keep thinking that Kat-tun has 5 members... So when people online comment on how there're only 5 members in Kat-tun now, I start wondering, "Isn't Kat-tun always made up of 5 members?" Then I think... "Oh wait, there's 6..."

But it's as if Akanishi Jin was never there, because they just naturally release a single without him. And then the sales drop. I don't know whether it's because it's the cheerful/motivational/Arashi style the song has, or the missing Jin. But either one, I didn't like the song very well. Kat-tun is always all rockish, and when they start to sing Arashi style songs, it seems weird... The tune's not very easy to recognize too... I think I've already forgotten the tune...

But Arashi singing rock is another issue... :P They have sung Jidai before... (I wouldn't say it's hard rock though... if it's hard rock, I wouldn't listen.)

I think Kat-tun is better off with cool songs that have loads of rhythms and beats, and raps and beatboxing (they have so many talented members!). Like Don't U Ever Stop. ^^ Or something startling and dramatic like Taboo. Okay fine, they're my favorite songs. I feel like hearing Jidai in Kat-tun style sometimes. :P

I have no idea what NewS style is now... They have all the weird songs (not very distinct-sounding, nor easy to recognize or remember) coming out. I didn't like their songs ever since Summer Time... or was it Happy Birthday? (The one after Taiyou no Namida) Sakura Girl was so Arashi style again... (everyone's following Arashi!!! :P)

Arashi's style has always been motivational and happy, but once in a while, they release cool songs like Truth and Monster. Then fans get awed by their coolness...

So it's better to go from cute and happy to cool, rather than cool to cute and happy. Mwahahaha.

Oh, and people should go read Fairy Tail. It rocks.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO DAWN ENG!

I'll be alone in working these few days, because Tan Min is off on vacation. Haha. Oh wells...

I dunno what to write about.

Oh, Amirah got tickets for the Super Junior showcase... haha. She must be so happy. Lucky girl. Sad that Arashi would never come for any showcase, because they just don't sell Japanese phones here. Gah. I would love to get a AU KDDI phone (the ones that Arashi is promoting)... they can be waterproof, solar-powered, and some can even take 20 shots in 1 go... And you can use all those cute emojis! And they can work in Singapore!!! It has been proven!

Oh yeah, Matsumoto Jun is one lucky guy! He gets all the best acting offers... First he gets to act in Hana Yori Dango (which becomes such a great hit that he became real famous), then he gets to act with Horikita Maki, Nagasawa Masami, Eikura Nana and Shibasaki Kou (all the popular cute girls) in one drama. He also gets to act with a Kuroki Meisa as a couple. And NOW, he will be acting with Takeuchi Yuko in a love story as a couple! Ohmygosh, Takeuchi Yuko! She's like one of the best and most famous actresses ever. She's acted with Kimura Takuya before! That'd be such an honour to act with her, wouldn't it, Jun?

And which Arashi member is Maki acting with next? There's 2 more left to go. XD

I went to the NTU interaction session today. :) Haha. I thought there'd be a lot of people, but there were really few people, but it's a really fun experience. And I was so nervous before I went. Haha.

It's like some sort of gathering, and all the seniors were so fun! ^^ We ate at this Japanese ramen restaurant Kyo-nichi, and we kept on chatting and all that. It's so casual, and that's what made me like it a lot. There was this computer engineering senior that I got along really well with. I found loads of things in common with her. She's really friendly too. :) And many of them like Japan too! One of them went to Japan 3 times already, and is studying Japanese! So envious. Haha... And we were all fangirling over Hana Kimi and Toma! ><>///< Kyaaa... and there were loads of other dramas and animes that they like too. :)

Why do Computer Engineering people like anime? Haha.

And I'm a rare gem in Computer Engineering, because the majority will be guys. Haha. I kinda expected that. It's so fun talking to all of them. Haha. Very enjoyable, and they are all such nice people. So happy. ^^

So basically our interaction session isn't really much about NTU (I did ask about some stuff, and my senior told me loads of helpful things.), it's mainly a casual chat session about lots of topics in our lives to get to know each other. Hehe. Great day. We really talked about a lot of stuff.

Everyone should go and read Fairy Tail. This is so random, but I will be promoting this manga everywhere from now on. Haha. I just love it so much. In my opinion, it's one of the best manga I've ever read. Oh wait, no, it's the best. THE BEST. I feel like re-reading it now...

I'm reading Groove Adventure Rave (same manga artist) now, at an extremely slow pace, for some reason. I dunno why, but it doesn't seem as nice as Fairy Tail. I'm just not addicted. But I will continue reading. Maybe it's the characters... I practically love almost all the characters in Fairy Tail (I love all the members in the Fairy Tail guild...)... I just dislike the evil ones, but not extremely hate... All the characters are just so interesting... they should all become real... ><

Fairy Tail is freaking awesome... AWESOME, I tell you. So read it.

I am tired. Everyday. I do not know why. But I am tired. Sad.

Ahhhhh... I can't wait for July to come.

I accepted NTU... but somehow I have a feeling that I haven't accepted yet. The confirmation page was... kinda informal? And they haven't sent any forms or whatever here yet.

Yay, I finished "And then There were None" by Agatha Christie last Sunday. Spent the whole day lying on the bed reading that. 10 people go to an island, and then one by one, all 10 people died on the island. So who killed them? It's actually quite brilliant... I didn't know who the murderer was, and it was really baffling. But when the truth is out, and there were hints pointing to the murderer, it's actually quite obvious. I like how Agatha Christie can introduce 10 people into the story and be able to describe all 10's personalities with detail. I could remember who was who and their names and personalities and all that. And the fact that the deaths happened quite fast that before I realise it, there were only 3 people left. Also, none of it was boring. :) I shall go and borrow more Agatha Christie books next time. I love classic mystery novels.

Reading the book Tan Min lent me. Last Seen Alive. Compared to Agatha Christie, I think it's more scary and dark. Haha. I haven't really read much of it yet, so shall continue reading now.

I'm also reading manga. Currently I am so addicted to Fairy Tail. Just when I wanted to read the next chapter (Chapter 185, I think), there's no more! T_T It's not out yet. Gah... I shouldn't have read so fast. I read around 30 chapters a day, I think. I don't think that's fast though. I'm sure people can read all 184 chapters in one day. But that just spoils all the fun.

Now I shall go read Rave while waiting for the next chapter to come out. At least Rave is completed. But there are too few chapters. I was hoping for 700 chapters like Detective Conan. Or maybe 500. Haha. Asking too much?

Everyone should go read Fairy Tail. It's so interesting and very touching... for a shounen manga. I think it's the best shounen manga now. Haha. I've decided to give up on Bleach, because they kept using the same villian. Aizen Sousuke. And he keeps getting stronger. I don't like seeing the same evil face for 100 chapters or so. And then I see everyone team up and still not be able to fight Aizen. Gosh. I hate him.

So yeah, Fairy Tail is much much better, because they don't use the same villian throughout. And sometimes they turn the villians into good people, so I end up liking them. :)

Oh my gosh, I'm slacking. I should get back to work.

Reading

I am still reading the early chapters of And then There were None. So slow, aren't I? I'm only reading 1 chapter a day... but the story is really interesting. So far 2 people died. 8 more to go. Maybe 1 of them will fake their death, but he's actually the real murderer? Haha. Feel like reading more. What a great book. :)

I bought Bloody Monday volume 1 yesterday. I hadn't bought a manga in ages. I thought I could buy it to get myself interested in watching the drama. I have only just randomly flipped through a few pages, and now I don't think I want to watch the drama at all. ><

It looks gross... and freaky. I thought it was a computer virus. Apparently the computer virus can kill people. It's like they have some kind of disease and keeps dying and all. It's probably the Death Note kind of story, but the people can loads of lumps on their faces before dying. Ewww... and then there's the cute boy who was playing happily and then suddenly started bleeding all over and vomited blood and died. >< Eww. I can't imagine all that in live action, and do not want to see it. Should have bought Gintama instead. *sigh*

Things are getting more and more hectic now. I think I have really poor memory. I want Saturday to come soon! Haha.

Japanese people have excellent service!!!!! >< Haha... I am so excited over that. ^^

I had to book all those hotels, and their website didn't show the triple room slot even though they wrote that they have. So my mum suggested I call them. *freaks out* I was so scared that I could not understand their English or something, but they spoke excellent English. For the first hotel I called, the woman spoke perfect English, and I could understand it really well. All the pronunciation was correct! I was thinking maybe that person wasn't a Japanese, but she spoke fluent Japanese when it connected initially. Wahhhh... ><

She was really patient, and whenever I asked a question that required her going off and checking it, she did it really politely, and her voice showed no signs of annoyance. I think I had her check stuff 3 times. Gomen ne... And I asked loads of questions, but she answered them really well, and I got all the information I needed. So I booked that hotel, and it was below my budget too. Hehe. :) After that call, I was so excited that I spoke to a Japanese! But her name doesn't seem to be Japanese, for some reason. Dunno why. Maybe she wasn't? :/

I didn't check my email properly, so I had to call another hotel. *freaks out again* In the end, it turned out that they had sent the email, so there was an awkward silence? Haha... But the man spoke well English too. So I opened the mail, and he asked me for some information to fill up (he sorta assumed I already booked), and then he provided loads of details of the hotel, about the tourist attractions near it, how to get to there, and how to get from the station to the hotel. He even attached the subway route, the map in English and map in Japanese. Then he gave directions from the station on foot (which are extremely detailed), and also if I want to take a taxi (which is kinda impossible for me), the total cost from the station, and just show the Japanese map to the taxi driver and he will know how to go. XD >///< Isn't that such great service?

And I feel like I could ask as many questions as possible and still not be embarrassed or think that it will trouble them a lot... they are so patient and so nice. And when I emailed them, their reply was almost immediate. :)

Gah... I can't wait for my Japan trip to come..... XD

Something on the Arashi side... Monster PV is out! And it was AWESOME. I could watch it more than 10 times and still love every single part of it. Everyone looks so good... except maybe Nino's hairstyle... Why didn't they keep his hairstyle in the live? Aiba was sooooo unexpectantly hot in that hairstyle (he should always keep black hair.), I can't help staring at him... and how can he look so good in a skirt?! What the heck. Aiba is so hot and pretty at the same time. *fantasizes* And everyone else looks so good too... Ohno... *melts in his dance* sigh... I don't need to say anymore...

And the song was great. It is so different from normal songs... it's just... so different. Wow, it's so good. And they look so cool. Arashi exploring different styles is great. I almost forgot they're almost 30 years old. Why does Aiba look hot in every close-up? Kyaaa... >///<

I shall go to Japan and take photos of all the Arashi posters on the walls and subway stations. Mwahahahaha.

Okay, I shall go to watch the pv again. Possibly one of the best.

Planning

It is so difficult to plan for my Tokyo trip. I didn't know it was that hard until I started planning for it. I had to start from scratch... listing the places I wanted to go in Tokyo in 10 days (which was more than 20, so I had to eliminate some...), and looking at the which train to take (oh my gosh, you should see their subway routes. It is SO complicated. But it brings you to every single place you wanna go. Every tourist attraction seems to be near a station. Which is good.) and booking the hotels.

I find booking hotels the hardest of all. I had to look for a triple room, and Tokyo hotels, unfortunately, rarely have triple rooms, because most of their rooms are tiny. And those that have triple rooms are extremely expensive and high class. It has to be near the station too. Argh. I tried searching for budget hotels, and it was so hard to find a room that was below $200 per night. Gah... so expensive. I will book the hotels by this saturday. ><><)

But still, I am really excited about the trip. Yay! I finally get to go to Japan. :) We're gonna visit the main tourist attractions, the shrines, the Tokyo tower, the shopping districts, parks, etc. No Tokyo Disneyland though, since we've been to the Florida's DisneyWorld, and it's probably the same. Plus, the narrations would all be in Japanese, and it'd be hard to understand.

And then we will be spending 1 night at Hakone, where we might see Mt. Fuji. My current worry is whether we would be able to see Mt. Fuji with all the clouds in the summer sky, and whether all the snow on the peak would have melted, so it wouldn't look as nice.

Other worries include whether it would be super crowded because July is basically every single country (especially America and Australia, I think)'s school holiday. Possibly the whole world would be in Japan at that time. >< I expect the trains be packed like sardines in the morning and evening during peak hours.

Too bad we could not go to Osaka and Kyoto, because there are just too many things to do in Tokyo. Maybe next time, in centuries later.

Hope it will be a pleasant and memorable trip. Can't wait for July to come.

Looking Forward

Wow... so many happenings this year... There are so many dramas and animes and books to look forward this year... Personally these are what I'm concerned with this year:

-Detective Conan Movie 14
-Magic Kaito anime
-Detective Conan OVA (new one with Kid in there.)
-Kaibutsu-kun (Ohno acting as a child even though he's 30 this year... >< Haha. It's hilarious, and I can't wait for episode 2.)
-Liar Game movie (even though I have never finished Season 2)
-Artemis Fowl Book 7: Atlantis Complex

Wow... Artemis Fowl is having a 7th book! I am so looking forward to it! It'll be coming out in August this year, probably. The story just gets more interesting ever... Mind damage? Personality disorder? Cool. Now to go re-read Artemis Fowl again from the start.

Now, I just wish they have an Artemis Fowl movie. And I should continue on Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, because it's an excellent read.

But first, "And then There were None" by Agatha Christie. A book I've been searching for ages. It was mentioned in Detective Conan, and I felt the urge to read it immediately.

Now, during work, I've discovered that reading Detective Conan manga while typing and listening to songs at the same time, actually makes me more efficient. Haha... for some reason. I'm reading early chapters, those that I missed and was interested in reading.

Oh well.

Nightmare

Not really a nightmare though... I had my SMU interview today... and I am definitely not suited for SMU. Wah... my first interview in my life, and it's so horrible. Okay, not really, because I don't really care about the interview much. I just treated it as an experience.

The preparation lasted for 1 hour and the interview itself lasted for 1 hour 15 mins. It's a group interview, which I kinda expected. It's so GP. You are required to read this article in 10 minutes and remember what it says and add your own opinion and then during the interview tell everything to the interviewers. Argh. I didn't know how to phrase my words well... it turned out kinda... messed up. Then there's this estimation question which I messed up too... Haha, I messed up on everything... but it's my first time, so it's just something to be learnt. And their interview wasn't really the normal kind of interview. Well, since it's Information Systems MANAGEMENT I suppose they were looking for a leader (a creative one, too...), and I am definitely not what they're looking for. So there.

There were these few guys who spoke very well during the interview. Need to learn from them. There was one particular guy who did loads of research on this course and really spoke a lot... I think he'll definitely get in. The professors kept smiling at him while he's speaking. Haha.

There were only 4 sections and it lasted that long? I didn't really speak much... I tried though... I wasn't nervous though, during the interview... I just said whatever was in my mind, though it didn't turn out right. Haha. I'm better off writing than speaking, I guess.

Darkest before dawn, eh? The dawn came before my darkness though.

2010 is such a Kaitou Kid year. Everything about Kid comes out. There's a movie that focuses on Kid, an anime special about Kid's past, and an OVA that's also about Kid. And Kaitou Kid is rumored to kiss Ran in movie 14. Kid gets everything. I'm so envious I wanna rush to Japan now to watch movie 14, even if without subs. I can't stand waiting another year just for the dvd to release. I want it now. But I probably can't get it. *sigh*

Kaitou Kid, aka. Kuroba Kaito, will always be my number 1 favorite anime character. Yay. People, please write more fanfics regarding him!

My wish now: For Kid and Conan to work together in Detective Conan manga... and battle the Black Organization together.

2010 is such a Kaitou Kid year. Which makes me mecha happy.

There might be a possibility that Toma (Nakatsu from Hana Kimi) might be coming to Singapore!!!! To promote his new movie Ningen Shikaku (which is quite a dark movie, I think...), which will be released in Singapore. *squeal, fangirls!*

I seriously hope he will come to promote. I will be there. More Japanese people need to come here to promote more stuff. Toma always rocks. I like him ever since Hana Kimi, and more when I watched Maou. He just rocks. And he has a good singing voice too. ><

Oh my gosh, a Japanese spoke to me! ><>< Haha... I was so happy. I didn't manage to speak to him in Japanese, because I was afraid my pronunciation was off... I only said "Hai" when he gave me the sample to try. I didn't even know whether I was using it right or not. But that really made my day.

I need to register in Japanese lessons one day... I've been watching the 5x10 dvd of Arashi speaking to the audience, and they didn't have subtitles. And I understood! Some of it... well, I understood enough to find it touching and tear up. I should watch more to practice my Japanese knowledge. Hehe.

Need to finish Amirah's Korean dramas and watch "Down with Love". But yesterday, I felt like watching Jdramas, so I watched "Smile". Cried at the 1st episode. I didn't expect it to be so saddening. I thought it be something that's heart-warming and sweet. Oh, and it's MatsuJun and Oguri Shun again! (They're really such good friends, they've acted together 3 times...) Oguri Shun is a bad guy this time. I almost couldn't recognize him with all that lumps of hair in front of his face.

I have recalled more good Jdramas people should watch now, since Maou kinda brainwashed me last week into thinking that it was the only good Jdrama. The top 3 jdramas are:

1. Maou (Revenge, hatred, loads of murders! Dark, beautiful bgm, serious, no funny or happy parts at all. But it still rocks. And Toma from Hana Kimi turns hot-blooded police officer.)
2. Buzzer Beat (Basketball and music. Haha. Good Yamapi drama. Great plot. A little frustrating at times.)
3. Ryuusei no Kizuna (Revenge, but not really serious. Funny at times, with extremely good actors. The cast is brilliant. The music is wonderful. Mystery.)

Other good jdramas include:

Mei-chan no Shitsuji (Very Hana Kimi like. Loads of guys and girls... most of the guys are good-looking, I suppose. Lots of butlers, so expect lots of gentlemen. And you have the flirtations Nanba in Hana Kimi as a gentleman too!)

Nodame Cantabile (Random, crack, funny, dramatic, music.)

Nobuta wo Produce (Maki (main girl from Hana Kimi) + Yamapi 1. Drunk-acting Yamapi. School drama.)

Kurosagi (Maki + Yamapi 2. Revenge, but not serious. Sometimes touching.)

Hana Kimi (the usual super-popular drama 1)

Hana Yori Dango (the usual super-popular drama 2)

One Litre of Tears (you will cry from the first episode until the last episode, for every single episode. A true story.)

And some more... but I can't remember anymore....

I realise that I watch a lot of Maki dramas... haha. She really acts a lot.

Movie

Kimi ni Todoke, one of my favorite mangas, will be turned into a movie. Yippee! Can't wait, but it's September. Such a long way.

Main leads are Tabe Mikako (the a-bit-annoying girl in Yamada Taro) and Miura Haruma (I'm sure loads of people know him).

Tabe Mikako probably fits the role well, but Miura Haruma as Kazehaya? Why is it always Miura Haruma? Sigh. I guess I need to like him more. Kazehaya was my favorite character in the manga, for being extremely refreshing and having such a good look. I don't think anyone can portray him perfectly. I'll just have to watch to see how well Miura can act him out. Now to think who would be a better choice... haha. Miura doesn't seem refreshing enough... to me.

Check out Kimi ni Todoke. It's an excellent manga. Shoujo. Pure. Simple. Sweet. It even made me cry. It's that good.

Oh, and Arashi concerts are really the best. I watched the 5x10 live performance on youtube last night, and I cried so much. And Ohno's speech made me cry more. The performance was so powerful. Saying thanks to the fans, but we should thank them more. If I was really there, I dunno how many tears I would have shed. It makes me wanna buy the 5x10 Anniversary Tour dvd more now. But it's so expensive. >< But I want it. So badly.

Yesterday I was surfing the net, and looking through all the random facebook groups that my friends joined, and musing at the comments and reading blogs and all. It was quite amusing reading some stuff, and some blogs made me ponder and all that. And I'm thinking of converting to another blog host after so many years of blogger. Wordpress tempts me now...

Oh, and JJ choir has a choir blog! >< It made me happy because I get to read more information about what they're doing now. It seems that they changed to a new instructor, and this guy, I read his info, is amazing. He's obviously really talented at such a young age. And he seems to be making choir practices real fun. That's great to hear, and it makes me so happy to see that choir is improving. ^^ Just by looking at the choir photos makes me feel like going there and joining them right now. Hehe.

I went to read some Arashi stuff too... mainly news. And then the recent Ohno's radio show actually, *screams*, talks about Singapore!!!! Mainly! There was this question (that he always gives) about what is the symbol of Singapore or something, and it was the Merlion, of course. Then Ohno went on to talk about Universal Studios Singapore, and that maybe someday he'll go there. That one sentence just made me sooooooo happy! Ohno wants to come! Probably all Arashi fans here are saving to go to Universal Studios now. Haha. Why not let him bring the other 4 members to come too! And why not have a concert there? Haha. Okay, I'm asking too much.

Long Holiday

Today I went out exercising with my mum. Haha. Actually it's just walking. We walked from my house to the Bukit Batok public pool, and then to WestMall. Hehe. I was playing Troublemaker by Arashi from my phone throughout the whole trip, because it helps to brisk-walk with rhythm, so I won't be that tired. Hehe. Just by playing it out, I got super high and started walking really fast. Haha. It's just so fun listening to that song! I watched their live again, the Music Station one, and just the beginning of them shaking makes me smile so so much. And then I keep replaying that part, it makes me soooooo happy. Hehe. >< Kyaa. The whole live was my favorite.

Work tomorrow. Hmm... hope nothing much happens. Haha.

Guilty with Sickness

I'm sick again. I haven't been to work for 2 days, because of a very painful sore throat and fever. Still taking medicine, but panadol does no help to my fever... It only reduces my fever to a few degrees, and after a certain period of time, the fever temperature is back again. And my throat still hurts the same, since Thursday morning. >< And it's Sunday today!!! What the heck am I supposed to do tomorrow?

I need to go to work tomorrow. I've been feeling so guilty for not going to work even though I cannot go because I'm sick. Even so, I feel guilty. Why am I sick so often? Argh... need to start exercising more.

My mum says I should not go to work tomorrow. What if my fever breaks out again? I need rest... but what if the fever continues for the day after next even if I rest? Argh. I've never had a fever that lasts for 4 days before.

What should I do? What should I do? What should I do?!

I need to go to work. Tomorrow. But what if I can't?

What if they get tired of me missing so many days of work and want to fire me? Oh my gosh. I'm freaking out. But I always have this as my worst case scenario. And what if it comes true?!

I still can't believe I'm sick. This sucks. I need to get well again! Because of this, all my plans are ruined. This is nothing but trouble.

I'm not supposed to be blogging now but I feel like doing a short post. Haha. On impulse.

I got my cable tv back. I cancelled channel 56 though, because I realise that I don't really watch it, and I don't really like to follow dramas everyday. And they show so little Jdramas. Sigh.

Toma and Ohno craze now. Watching Maou nowadays. I'm hooked on it, because it's so suspenseful and so puzzling. I guess everything will be clear at the last episode. And it's not scary at all, even though there're lots of deaths. And all the characters are great.

Read some translations from magazine interviews with Arashi just now too, and struggling not to laugh out loud.

Imagine going to a fortune teller and being told "You are already dead."
I almost burst out into laughter. Poor Nino. XD

Okay, now I don't know what to write.

Hello there, I'm the 6th member of Arashi. Haha. Yes, since Nino once declared Arashi's fans as the 6th member of Arashi. Hehe.

Anyways, I was watching Ohno's solo nowadays, and my gosh, the way he sings and dances. "Rain" was so good. He's unbelievably gifted in JE. Seriously. Possibly the best singer and dancer in the whole of JE. And he does 50 push-ups and 50 sit-ups every night in 2 minutes. Makes me wonder if he's really the kawaii guy who makes me laugh all the time with his words, who puts stocking in his head and disfigure his face, and who looks like he's sleeping in variety shows. Haha. Ohno Satoshi rocks. But Sakurai Sho rocks more. Hehe.

Troublemaker is a great song that motivates every morning. At work I listen to that more than 3 times. And I think of Arashi dancing... haha. They don't dance like professional dancers, but every time they dance, they make me happy. They make me smile. :) It looks like they're happy when they're dancing too. Like they're having fun. That's why I like them so much. ^^ And their songs are always so happy.

I passed my BTT. Yay. Was trembling and was so nervous. Dunno why. Think it's easier than BTE.

Oh, and I finished Autumn Concerto. Hehe. One word to describe: Shiawase. Happiness in Japanese, but I think Shiawase can describe the word "happiness" more... haha. The ending is satisfying to me, and the thing I liked about this drama is that there are plots about other characters, and it's not just focused on the main characters. The last part about the "kidnapping" reminds me about Atashinchi no Danshi. Hehe.

Nothing much to comment on nowadays about my life because my life is so mundane.... haha. Oh, don't try Lipton's caramel tea. It smells super sweet but tastes like plain water.

Random Thoughts

Okay, here's a joke. It's a Super Junior joke (found on my magazine), but it can be a general one. So here goes:

One day, a band went out on a hike. All of a sudden, they tripped and fell off the cliff, and had to hold on to a tree branch to save themselves. However, the branch looked like it will soon break, so one person had to let go and sacrifice himself for the others. The leader immediately volunteered himself, and said, "I am the leader, so I should let go. You all have a bright future in front of you, so you must treasure your lives well. Remember, I can die, but the whole band cannot die!"

What the leader said touched the other bandmates' hearts so much, that they all began to clap their hands...

Okay, did you get that? Sorry, I'm awful at translation, since it was from a Chinese magazine. I hope you get it... They have a lot of SJ jokes on my magazine. If I find any more funny ones, I'll upload it again...

I had to ponder this while listening to songs at work... Am I the only one who actually pays attention to the background music when watching dramas or animes? It seems that most people I know of only notices the theme song, but not the bgm... I notice both, maybe more on bgm, and I always fall in love with at least one bgm from a drama... And then I had the sudden urge to buy or download or own it or even play it... I even went on youtube and every possible website to search for piano scores and all.

I love bgm... especially Jdrama bgm, because they really can get you into the mood of the situation. Without that, you won't be able to cry, or get scared, or whatever. And every time I hear the bgm, I remember the scenes from the drama. It's so nostalgic.

Some of the dramas with really good bgm (in my opinion):

Japanese: Mei-chan no Shitsuji, My Girl, One Litre of Tears (because it's tragic), Kurosagi, and some others which I can't remember... Ryuusei no Kizuna has one that's really nice, and every time I hear it, I remember the scene of Nino in tears saying "Why did you kill them?"... and my favorite scene of Nino shouting. Nino is awesome. XD The Quiz Show 2 has one really nice one, but it's not in the ost and I cannot find it anywhere.

Taiwanese: Autumn Concerto and My Queen. I'm not too sure about others, because I don't watch much Taiwanese dramas... Autumn Concerto has very nice bgm, which I heard yesterday... My Queen as well...

Oh yeah, in the MRT today, I was standing really close to 2 Korean girls chatting to each other. And since I'm really close, I could hear everything they said, but not understand a single word. And then they got louder, so I was a little startled by their loudness, because I was standing too close. But it did help pass the time... listening to something you don't understand, but still sound nice enough. Haha. If only they were Japanese, I might actually know a bit...

I love Sakurap. I love Sakurai Sho's voice. His rap makes me like to listen to more of his rap. Okay, I shall end here before I start more nonsensical sentences.

It's great to be typing the whole day. :) I wore a double jacket today. It was just so cold in the office. I'm thinking of changing my jacket to a thicker one now... haha. The double jacket makes me think of Sakurai Sho's double parka, though my inner one is not a parka. Haha. Let's hope Sho starts another trend. >< He's extremely good at setting trends for unique stuff.

Summary of my China trip:

On the plane, there was no nice movies except the Japanese movie Kaiji. Can't believe I already watched it in Feb even though it will only start showing in Singapore in March. :P It's a darker and more dangerous version of Liar Game, and the Light and L (from Death Note)'s actors are in there, Light's actor as the main character again, Kaiji. It's dark and very exciting, and Kaiji is just really lucky. I was so engrossed in the movie that I could not believe how fast time passed and it was ending soon. The middle part was sad, and terrifying too... and made me really angered as they showed the ugly side of humanity. It's a worthy watch. Nothing happy or comedic though. It's mainly a dark movie.

It was super cold in China, hence it snowed. It's cool to see snow after such a long time, but then after a while I kinda got used to seeing it. We took photos, so they're on facebook.

We (cousin and I) mainly stayed home in China, because we didn't really like visiting relatives. So we watched tons of dramas, especially Japanese dramas. Dramas we watch that are nice include Autumn Concerto (a must-watch! But I haven't finished it yet, so not too sure whether ending will ruin anything), Love Shuffle (it's pretty good, with an unexpected twist at the end. Tamaki Hiroshi, Matsuda Shota, Karina, Yoshitaka Yuriko (my favorite)), Buzzer Beat (one of the best Yamapi dramas, not because of Yamapi, but because of Kitagawa Keiko being pretty and a nice character and Aibu Saki being evil, which makes me like Aibu Saki more).

We tried a Kdrama "You're Beautiful", but never really got past episode 4 or 5, I think, because one episode takes forever to finish, and there are so many misunderstandings that frustrate us, and the gentle and kind guy is destined not to get the girl. So we skipped straight to the ending, the last part of the final episode, and there, we finished the drama. XD I don't think I can get actually get attracted to Kdramas.

Then there's this amusement park, Fanta Wild and Adventure, that we went to. The first ride we went on was super cool, and I hope Singapore's Universal Studios would have this ride. Everyone sit in rows, and then the platform below you vanishes, and you are "sucked into" a movie where you fly around the world. The thing is you don't feel like you're watching a movie, but you feel like you are in the movie, flying right there, and the experience was wonderful. It's hard to express that in words, so it would be better to actually go on the ride itself.

I was all reluctant to try the other rides, but kinda gave in to peer pressure from my cousin. There were two rides that I'm never ever going on again. One that makes you swirl throughout the ride and makes you feel that you're going to fall off the ride. Another one where you are hanging mid-air above all those people who are safe on the ground, and it swooshes down at terrifying speed. Behold the power of gravity, or whatever the experience feels like.

Actually, that's all that is to the whole China trip. Of course, there are smaller happenings, but oh well. If I write, I may never end.

I finally bought the My Girl (the Japanese version, the Aiba Masaki version) dvd. From TS. I was hoping to buy it from Poh Kim, since TS' subtitles suck, but I could not wait any longer. I've been haunting Poh Kim every day to find the dvd since the start of February, and it still hasn't come out now. However, all the other dramas that came out later, already is on sale, like Real Clothes and all. I bought My Girl at a 50% discount, which is quite sad, because such a brilliant drama should not be sold at half-price. Oh well. I have not re-watched it yet, but will soon... and cry over it again. If any parent has Koharu as their child, they're the luckiest parent in the whole world. ><

I think I've gone mad. Gone bonkers. And I'm sure I am not one of the best people in the world. I am seeing things now. My hands and legs have gone numb. My fingers are trembling as they type. I just discussed all the possible methods of death with my friend. I feel like disappearing from this world right now.

To think that stomach flu is hell.... No, this is much worse. I don't think I can even revive myself from this hell this time.

If I don't blog for more than a week or so, you can probably guess what happened.

Obsession

I am really obsessed with Arashi, especially Sakurai Sho. Who knows why? I even went to Google to search for blog posts related to "Sakurai Sho". And there were tons of "Happy birthday Sho-kun" posts, even though his birthday was over a long time ago. Hehe. And then I went to youtube too, and there were tons of youtube videos celebrating his birthday... and videos like fans (from Singapore too) gathering together to cheer and celebrate his birthday (singing songs), and some even bought a cake and put his photo right there and sang happy birthday song to him... (even though he won't hear them... and me... T_T) But hooray, fans of Arashi! Hooray, fans of Sho-chan! ><

I love Sakuraiba. Seriously. I see moments of Sakuraiba in every video everywhere, even though it might not seem Sakuraiba to others. But to me... sigh. Gosh.

I need to go to Japan one day. *daydreams*

Nooo... Arashi no Shukudaikun is ending soon. I used to get bored with it, but now I agree that it is the best variety show of Arashi out there. No, it's the best variety show of all variety shows out there. >>><<< Hopefully the new variety show is as good... but from the summary... hmm... oh well... as long as Arashi is there.

Can't wait for VS Arashi special to be subbed. Need to watch Code Blue Team vs Arashi team! Toda Erika vs Nino! (The Ariake siblings battle!) (Nino is sly even if outside of drama.)

I miss my Ryuusei no Kizuna already...

ShoMaki rocks in Tokujo Kabachi. I rewatch scenes while watching the episode for the first time. It took me twice the duration to finish one entire episode. I cried in the second episode, when Sho cried. >< (Gosh, I cry in every crying Sho scene in every drama.)

I realize that there are tons of Arashi fans in Singapore. Hooray! ><

I stopped watching Darker than Black even though it rocks. Real people are better, because they are real. And the fantasizing is stronger just because they are real.

Okay, I'm crazy. Need to take a break from my computer.

And for Pet Society, my Petling cat ran away even though it was in the chest. >< Unfair.

And today I went for my first day there. I didn't do anything else besides work... haha. And I like the typing job a lot! There're loads of things to learn though... I must remember a lot of steps... hope my memory doesn't die on me.... Haha. Ganbatte!

I am so addicted to Tokei Jikake no Umbrella by Arashi, that I even dreamt of the song playing 4 times... with my friends dancing to it... o_O That is so not going to happen. But I'm so addicted to that song that I can sing it 10 times every day and not go bored. Gosh, Ohno's voice rocks.

And I didn't know Tan Min had a livejournal account until now... And is the address an acronym of her own name? Haha... I'm not sure. ~~Actually, I prefer livejournal to blogger.~~

Saigo no Yakusoku

Wee... I'm back to blogging again after ages.... Oh well, there's nothing to write.

So I shall write about random Japanese stuff and all.... nothing interesting... haha.

Just finished watching Saigo no Yakusoku (yes, I'm slacking), and I am suddenly overcome by an urgent need to watch more of Arashi. Hehe. Saigo no Yakusoku was pretty good... it was exciting, and I had so many questions... somehow I had a feeling that it was like The Quiz Show 2. Haha. And I guessed most of what's gonna happen! (From the later half of the show, though...) They really gave Arashi great characters to portray... hehe.

To me, Nino's the best actor... can't blame him since he's a Hollywood actor and all now... and why is he always given that kind of role now? Haha... MatsuJun and Ohno probably comes next... the way they portray their feelings is pretty good. MatsuJun really seems natural acting DoS characters... haha. Sho is alright, but he looks angry sometimes for no reason. Aiba seems a bit unnatural, but if they let him act more often, he'll definitely improve. *hopes for more Aiba dramas*

Nino's now on the top of my rankings now. >< Haha... hope they get to act together like that again, but chances are low, I think. And their song rocks! I bought their best album because they kept on promoting it in the J-magazine. (Wink Up, I think.)

JW converted to a K-pop fan. She is now a big fan of Super Junior. Haha. She loves their dorkiness as much as I love Arashi's dorkiness. Well, I'm still into J-pop, so will probably treat SJ as a pretty fun band, but not something for me to fangirl over yet. Haha. Must admit though, that they had me cracking up with their strange English. I still like Arashi's craziness more though.

Oh, and the next Detective Conan movie has Kaitou Kid again! And Ran and Kid has development?! (Watch the trailer on youtube) Another thing for me to go kyaa kyaa over... haha...

Haven't been blogging for such a long time. Anyways, just wanna say a big THANK YOU to all the people who have wished me happy birthday! :) Domo arigatou gozaimasu!!!! >_< And thanks, Dionne, for the wonderful pencil case and jewellery! Haha. ^^

I went to Orchard with my mum to celebrate my birthday... it was quite an impromptu decision. Haha. Ate at this cool place called Shokudo (like a Japanese street). Was super good. They have the actual-sized okonomiyaki!!!! >< (not the small-sized one at Sakae Sushi... haha.) I was so happy when I saw it... it was delicious. Hehe.

Okay, enough of that. Need to study for physics... haha... but will slack a bit now. I'm so flunking phy paper 2!!!

We ought to start a Mizushima Hiro fan club. :P

I like him, Amirah likes him, Dionne likes him too, and I think Say Hwee sort of likes him too. Haha. For those who watch Hana Kimi, he's the flirtatious Nanba-senpai in there. :)

But really, I think the main highlight of Hana Kimi is actually Toma (or the blond-haired Shuichi who thought he was gay, but he's not. :P). You cannot stop loving him. Toma is love. Haha.

Dionne is going to watch... (I can't really spell it well)... Atashinichi no Danshi (sp?)... mainly acted by Maki. :) Maki is nice. I'm going to watch that someday too.

And I'm going to watch Mr. Brain someday too, because of all the wonderful appearances of wonderful actors and actresses in every episode.

Now. Back to reality.

I am going to fail Physics. Baka me for not memorizing the Quantum Physics Part 2 at all. Now there goes my 19 marks and more. Gosh, I need to start understanding those quantum tunnelling and x-ray spectrum stuff. >< I hope I pass. Definitely won't get an A, but I hope I pass.

My holidays have just started!!! (The last 2 weeks feel like school.) Now... I shall recap what happened these few days...

Thursday:
It was a super long day for me... was pretty tired, but I enjoyed myself a lot too. Especially the choir bbq. The games were all pretty fun, especially the name-memorizing game... But I enjoyed watching everyone laugh out loud and have fun rather than participating in the game myself. :) Haha. Truth or Dare was... haha. Nothing much to say. Then went out and got bombarded with loads of lame jokes from Shannon. Seriously he has gotta be the lame king. And then we got loads of presents from our juniors. They're so sweet! ^^ Thanks, everyone!!! Gonna miss them a lot... they're all such nice people.

Friday:
Went to the PC show with my mum. Yay, I bought a new phone... Sony Ericsson T707. I wonder if it's good. It's a new phone so there weren't any reviews about it. But I'm using it, and it's still quite cool and I still like it a lot. Bought the spring rose one so it won't look like Dionne's old phone too much. Haha. We bought a printer/scanner/photo-copier all in one as well... and a 4GB memory card as well as a thumbdrive... haha. I like the PC show... although it's super crowded and noisy.

Yesterday:
I watched loads of dramas... haha. On cable tv. Nowadays, I'm watching different dramas at the same time. Gonna start watching the taiwan drama from Dionne soon. Then I'm waiting for Ghost Friends episode 9, which is never coming out. Wanna watch the ending though the plot is one of the worst I've ever seen. Then I'm watching the taiwan drama "Bai Quan Nu Wang" on cable. It's really good. It showed yesterday. And at the same time, I watched the Korean Boys Over Flowers on channel u. And after all has ended, I went back to cable and started watching this Korean drama "Who Are You" until 12am plus...I've never watched it before, but it seemed pretty interesting. And it's quite funny. Haha. Wah... so many dramas to watch... need to study too!!! ><

Today: Nothing much happened. Haha. Tuition. Then Tv... then online now! Haha. Yay, my holidays start now. :) Oh, just found out. From next week onwards, the Jdrama "Absolute Boyfriend" will be showing every friday at 11.30pm on Channel U!!!! >< Yay!!! Mizushima Hiro!!!!

Concert

On Monday night, I went to the Esplanade to watch the ACJC choir concert. It was splendid... haha... even though Say Hwee said during the later part, everyone was rushing... but we did not notice a thing. Seriously, I really enjoyed the concert a lot, what with all the super nice songs, and very creative movements... there was one song where they sang with two guys playing drums. Then there was another where they had a soloist right in the centre of the stage, and the other members near the audience singing together. And then there was moments where the instructor was not there, and the choir sang by themselves... and they really seemed as if they were all enjoying themselves. I like the instructor as well... the way she conducts is as if she was embracing the music. But all in all, I loved the last song about the magic paintbrush, because it was a story and we could hear their words very clearly... I could understand what kind of story they're telling. And the sound when the song ended was such a whole sound that it sort of filled the whole concert hall... Beautiful. I dunno know why, but at the second last song, I almost cried. Haha. I know I'm sort of an emotional person. I think I enjoyed it more than last year's concert. Haha. Hope in future JJ choir can be like them one day. :) I know Nan Hua choir is getting to become like that soon.

Today is Dawn's birthday... Happy birthday to Dawn!!!! ^^

Hmm... somehow now it does not feel like it's the school holidays at all. I keep having a feeling that tomorrow I'd have to go back to school. Hmm... strange.

Oh, and I finished watching the Japanese drama called "Ryusei no Kizuna"... introduced it to Say Hwee and she became addicted... I finished watching it and at the last episode I cried like there's no tomorrow. Nino's a great actor. Haha. The ending was great. Nowadays few dramas have great endings like that.

Another Jdrama. Ghost Friends. I find the main female character resembling Hilary Duff sometimes... (even the comments say so) and the main male character looks a bit like Liu Qian (a Taiwanese magician). So sometimes when I watch it, I just crack up... But I gave up on this drama. Maybe I'll just skip to the last episode and see the ending. It was getting boring.

Dramas... Again

I should be studying now... but it's the last day of school for this term! So I went online again.

All is over now. Talentime... not very high, and a little disappointing, but took lots of photos. :) Civics performance was... argh. Stepped down from choir. Hannah is the president of choir now!

I've been on a KinKi Kids hiatus nowadays... but I decided to go watch some Domoto Kyoudai now... I searched for the newest guests... and guess I what I saw? ... Toma!!! He's the special guest! I screamed immediately. Haha. Toma always rocks. Whether or not he's acting. He has rocked ever since Hana Kimi. Yay! >< Nakatsu!

I'm watching Korean version Hana Yori Dango now too. It's super hilarious. But realized that Domyouji (Dao Ming Si) in the Korean version is although baka-ish, but not evil in the beginning. Haha. I remembered that the Japanese version one (MatsuJun!) was super evil where he went to beat up students and do loads of bad things that I hated him at the front, but then after that I realized that he's just idiotic. Haha. Then I began to like him more. But in both versions, they are baka-ish (or idiotic)... in a really funny way. But seriously, this Korean version really cracks me up. XD

I wanna watch Dance Subaru after Dionne introduced it to me... and after I realized that Kuroki Meisa is acting in it! (She is sooooo pretty... ) The first time I saw her act was as Sister Angela in One Pound Gospel. Haha... Then she acted in Domoto Koichi's Shock musical, she was really beautiful. Now she's dancing! Wow. I wanna watch.

Gosh, I wish the holidays start next week. The days are getting busier and more and more torturous. Have to go home late almost every day of the week. But partly it's my own fault. Sigh. Tomorrow shall be one of the better days, but anything could happen. I hope that...

This is a terrible week, seriously. Feel like I keep doing the wrong things... Sigh. Oh well.

I need a break. Badly. Holidays, please, please come soon. I don't care whether the mid-years will come soon too, but I just want the holidays here. I want a break. Just to breathe.

Yay, Choir!

Wanted to put a new song on my blog, but realised that imeem now only gives 26 seconds-preview of any songs that you upload anywhere, so I just stopped and gave it up. It wouldn't sound very nice with only 26 seconds, would it? Haha...

Oh my gosh, Nan Hua choir got gold for SYF!!! Congrats! They seriously improved a lot! Ms. Yin did a good job, despite all the stress and sadness that I'm sure they had given her during the past few years... Wow, I'm so glad they finally made it. And they changed their gown! They look so nice in the gown! And the student conductor was really good at it... Too bad Ms. Yin wasn't in the video.

SYF is on Tuesday! I just had a talk with my former choir friend, who's now in another JC's choir... haha. She's freaking out over it... and then sang a bit of Sounds of Joy on the phone. How crazy could we be? Haha... But singing rocks. Let's hope we get a good result... We had a choir dinner today... it's so fun. Haha... I went all high and hyper and start talking random things to people... Just because tomorrow is a holiday. Yes, I miss holidays so much. I need a break from all those tests.

JJ Talentime... haha. Some of my friends got in... Can't wait for the finals...

This week is an okay week... but today was a little depressing... yesterday as well... Happy birthday to Yamapi... oh well...

Sims 3 is coming out this June! I hope to buy it someday and play it! Haha... they have more features and the sims can go out to walk in the neighbourhood now... Cool... anyone wants to buy it for me? Hehe.

Has anyone played "The Neverhood" game before? Does anyone have that game? I remember playing it when I was really young, and it was really fun and challenging with a lot of puzzles and all. Then now I suddenly remembered it and feel like playing. It's about this clayman, who's a very funny creature. However, I do not remember playing till the end. Ahh... I feel like playing it now... although I should be studying.

Less than a month to syf!!!! I hope we can do well for it... but now a lot of people could not come because of a lot of other activities in line for them... a little sad... seriously, we should start practising intensely by now... if not, when are we going to stop learning and start polishing on all our songs? Ahh... the stress is driving me crazy... Haha... but choir now is always so fun! The more the merrier! ^^ And full of piano talents! Yay...

Now some Japanese news... haha...

I found out that Mizushima Hiro, the third favorite Japanese guy on my rankings (who has kicked Yamapi down to no. 4), has gotten married! It appears that he and Ayaka (a singer) has secretly gotten married on feb 22. Haha. So quick, and very unexpected. I must say I got a shock... Amirah too... haha. But Ayaka seems like a very nice and cheerful woman (but so much younger than him... she's like 21 or 22 this year...), so shiawase ne... haha.

Abstractedness

Recently, we've received the results of a personality test that we had done last year. It was a full-length report, and I must say it was pretty accurate. There was one aspect that I was rather surprised at, which is that I am a highly abstracted person. (By highly, it means, I scored full 10 marks for being abstracted, and 0 marks for being grounded) Now, I've never thought of myself as being abstracted at all... So this is really a big surprise.

There was this person who explained about our test results. He described "abstracted" as...: When an abstracted person hears the loudness of lightning, he will think, "What causes the loudness of lightning?" But when a grounded person hears the same thing, he will think, "It's going to rain soon. Did I bring an umbrella?"

Hmm... I guess it's quite true then. Amirah verified that I'm an abstracted person as well from my post about relativity. Haha... So I am abstracted.

Wednesday was Home-Learning Day. I thought I would like it a lot, but in the end, I did not. GP homework given was super difficult, and I spent half of the whole day just doing that one application question. When I had expected that I could finish all the homework in just half a day, I had used up my whole day just to get everything done. It was so tiring, and I always get the urge of going to some other websites... And it was a complete strain for my eyes. I guess it was not nice at all. But the electric hockey game was fun, although it took me forever to get my answer right. Haha.

Sports Meet today. It's quite exciting watching the relay matches... but the rest of the event was kind of boring. During the half-an-hour interval, I did not know what to do... everyone was so bored and so tired and warm. Oh well. Got back Physics test results after that. Ah. I had a sad score. I did not improve at all. That was kinda depressing. Really need to buck up from now onwards. So, why am I blogging now? Haha...

I have to go back to school almost everyday of the holiday, for choir. But choir is fun with so many people in it. And there's a showcase of talents. So cool. Haha.

I did not upload Yakusoku in the end, because I thought it might be a little too loud... haha... oh well, maybe next time. It's a splendid song, but a pity the radio station did not broadcast it... I'm still trying to sing it perfectly, but it's really hard... very challenging song.

Instead, I've decided to upload a new blog song, Shirushi by Mr. Children. I've fallen in love with this song again because Domoto Tsuyoshi sang it on Domoto Brothers variety show, with Shida Mirai as the special guest. Haha... he rocks. Gosh, I want a Mr. Children album... he has a great voice, and his songs are so nice....

School tomorrow. Weekends just pass so fast.... I hope holidays come soon... and this upcoming horrifying week of endless tests ends soon...

Should be changing my blog song soon... to another KinKi Kids song... Yakusoku, because it's their new single that's come out last Wednesday... Hope 93.3 broadcasts this song tonight, because I'm sure their single is number 1 again on the Oricon chart. *hopes* ><

I've suddenly discovered a sudden interest for Einstein's theory of relativity thanks to Koichi from KinKi Kids... He actually spoke about that during his live concert... (he gets really excited when he talks about that, even though no one's really interested... but I am!)... And he even gave people a book about that during a present exchange thing... I wonder if he's in the wrong occupation... Haha...

Let's think, if you're travelling at the speed of light towards a mirror, would you be able to see your reflection in the mirror? Since your reflection would be due to the reflection of light... After he spoke about that, I thought, "Hey, I've never thought about that!"... and now I'm interested... but I'm sure this interest will fade very quickly... Haha.

Argh... school again tomorrow. How nice. There goes my Sunday. In a few more hours.

School and Twilight

School starts pretty ordinary, because most of the teachers did not change, and all my classmates did not change. I suppose I like it this way... This year is very important, so I will definitely need to pay loads of attention in lectures and tutorials, no matter how dry it gets. But I'm already failing to do so during Econs and Chem. Sad.

We changed seats to right up front in physics lecture, which I'm very happy about, because it helps me pay better attention, and the lecture slides' fonts are larger that way. For Math, we're stuck in LT1 for the rest of the school year, with the same table, so if you're unlucky to get a broken table, good luck. And you'll also feel crammed up for the whole year, because the whole of the lecture hall is filled entirely with students... so there's no space at all. Sad.

There's been a Twilight craze nowadays, especially in my class... I must say the movie was alright to me, but the book was awesome. I'm still reading New Moon now, slowly and painfully, because it gets a little boring in the middle section... But the first book was really awesome... there's not a single boring part in there... at least not to me... and to think that these entire series began from a woman's dream... It's just amazing.

Okay, I shall stop right here... There's nothing much to write now. To my classmates, good luck for the monday Chem test and tuesday Math test!!! And an early happy birthday to Dionne, in case I won't blog for the next few days!!!

P.S. The next Domoto Kyoudai will feature Shida Mirai as the special guest... I'm so looking forward to it!!! ><

It's 2 January now, but anyways I'll do a short little reflection of the past year. Haha...

Year 2008 has been an especially fruitful year for me... loads of challenges and many first-times. It's probably one of my most memorable years ever. And this year passed by so quickly. Everything kinda happened in flashes... there are things that happened which were lucky to me, and things that were unlucky, but overall, it was a very challenging year, I suppose.

Loads of unexpected changes happened this year, and most of them in the form of challenges. Well, there was the first impression of JJ through the 01 orientation camp... I had a great time with my OG, which was really bonded together. And as the months go by, I have a CCA, got into a PW group, had my first choir performance where I actually had one little solo (which needed me to gather a lot of courage), had many interaction with different people, was a little more able to speak without getting too nervous in front of people, and I must say I learnt a lot this year.

Well, this year has ended, but looking back, it was a good year. Let's hope this new year will be a better year than the last. I know there are 2 Japanese movies to look forward to, but still, the most important of all, is the A-levels. Hope I can do well for it.... jiayou to myself and everyone else out there.

Yet again, I've put another song on my blog... I don't know what's with me and music on blogs.... oh well.

Lately, my boom (thing I'm obsessed with) has been this anime, so anime fans, you better watch this anime!: The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi.

This is an awesome anime, full of craziness and randomness and crack! So you should watch it. It's simply crack. And crack is fun.

Oh, the song is "To Heart" by KinKi Kids... it's the theme song of the drama with the same name. My favorite Tsuyoshi drama.

Been trying to rush all those holiday homework... hope I can get all of them done as soon as possible... but I'm moving at a very slow pace. Oscillations are terrifying sometimes. I look at the notes and I get all dizzy. Haha. (Should have finished that a long time ago, but I'm a last-minute person)

There's always nothing to write about during the holidays... I've been drawing nowadays... copying other comic artists' works, actually. It's nice to draw it out, but the final result always does not look like the original art. Oh well.

Okay, since there's nothing much to talk about, I'll just stop now.

I'm so happy... I was playing facebook for a while... the Geo Challenge thing, and I hit a new high score!!! Haha... got me so excited...

Okay, I've been slacking and rotting and trying to get all those holiday homework done nowadays... No more of Physics tuition till the end of the month... I'm a bit sad, because I hoped he'd do more on Electric Field... wah... I finally got the hang of it after my mum explained it to me and all... oh well... haha. I like Electric Field!!!! >< Haha... okay, call me weird.

Choir is alright nowadays... had a one-to-one talk with my instructor. Quite serious... ahhhh... nervous too. Haha. But now I know how to tackle my problems... oookay, I sound so serious.

Went to Xin Xue's house on Tuesday... She introduced to me some more cool dramas this season... we watched Ryusei no Kizuna together... and I fell in love with it! It's a wonderful, great drama, with wonderful wonderful actors and actresses! Nino!!!! And it has the most beautiful music ever... >///< *gets hyper* Anyways, we found out we both like Arashi a lot... (I just started liking them thanks to some of their dramas... and Nino.) And we were talking about how we liked all of them, except Aiba because we're not familiar with him, so he became "just another member of Arashi". Poor Aiba... next time I might check out his variety shows.

And I'm starting to like Ohno more than MatsuJun... Oh no!!! XD

Oh, and I made this Tsuyoshi wallpaper... with paint (it's a very simple wallpaper)..it's my desktop wallpaper now... I couldn't find one KinKi Kids wallpaper I liked, so I made one... haha... everytime I see the wallpaper, I get so happy... XD (Because Tsuyoshi wa mecha kawaii yo...)

I'm running out of dramas to watch... probably gonna continue watching 33pun Tantei... By dramas, I meant "only Koichi/Tsuyoshi dramas"... because I'm in no mood to watch any other drama that KinKi Kids do not appear in...

Listening to "Blue Night Wind" by KinKi Kids... (that's how I translate it to be...) Gonna listen to all the KK songs nowadays...

Kyou-kun came today... long time no see... haha... recommended her loads of dramas... introduced her to KinKi Kids... and lent her Liar Game!!! Haha... and we watched some videos... didn't have time to show her more of Domoto Kyoudai funny scenes, but showed her the NewS one... and now she's in love with Tegoshi!!!!! *happy*

I've watched the Sushi Oji movie!!! It's quite a good movie! I'd say I liked it better than Kurosagi movie... but how dare they do that to Kawataro... This is such a hilarious and serious movie at the same time...

Got a new haircut... because my hair is super thick... looks a bit different now... and the hairdresser cut my hair until I can't really tie it that much... haha... oh well.

Ahhh... the weekend's ending... noooooooo.... tuition tomorrow... the last lesson of the year.

Freedom at last!!!! OP is over!!!! This is such a great day!!!! Haha...

OP was quite alright... but I screwed up on my Q&A... oh well... I don't care anymore... as long as I can do well for the presentation part... The two teachers seem very nice. The Physics teacher kept on nodding throughout everyone's presentations. Seems like he's paying attention a lot. He seems like a nice teacher...

Got back promos results... promoted overall... but the "advanced" sounds so much nicer than the "promoted"... but it means "conditionally promoted"... they always have names that sound so nice, but is really describing something not so nice.... Like "Star", which means "Students at risk"... and "US" program is for students with "U" and "S" grades... err....

Actually went out to eat with my pw group at macdonald's. But I didn't eat much... just drank ice milo... They're all seriously lame... said a lot of funny things... which are... err... lame. Haha...

I came back and did not know what drama to watch today.... I did not dare to watch "Maou", like what Amirah suggested... because it was too freaky... and "Rookies"... well, not interested in baseball... and Shirota Yuu... I wanted to watch some action dramas like mystery and crime dramas with Domoto Koichi or Domoto Tsuyoshi inside... but turns out that I've watched all of them... argh... I wanna watch more of Koichi....

So I went back and watched "Remote" again... but I've stopped... I've finished "Rookie!" (that's how it's written...) already... the ending was sooooooooo satisfying, with a surprise appearance from a certain person... haha! I was so surprised, and so happy about it! Got excited for that few minutes...

Hmm... should I watch "Rookie!" again? I feel like it... even though I've finished it yesterday...

Well, now that I'm free... there's loads of things to do!!!! I can go and learn Japanese now!!! Haha... and write random stuff all I want... and draw whatever crazy doodles when I feel like it... and read as many novels as possible... and sing and dance around all hyper.

Changed the blogskin... and finally starting to blog... I'll blog more often after OP is done...

Tomorrow will be the worst and best day ever... mainly because OP will be done tomorrow... but OP itself is pretty frightening... especially the Q&A section... but I've sort of decided to give up on that 10% part... if I really can't answer, then... oh well... forget it. Will do my best on the presentation...

After that will also know my overall grades... whether I can promote or not... hope I can... it's really scary if I can't.

My mum came back from China... she bought a lot of stuff... the 3 Japanese related magazines!!! Paradise... haha... Everytime I see them, I began grinning foolishly... haha. I've become an avid fan of KinKi Kids. Great songs, great looks, great personalities... haha. They're occupying my mind nowadays... *gets hyper*

I'm slacking nowadays... watching jdramas. Recently, I'm watching this drama called "Rookie"... not "Rookies"... not the baseball one, but rather the police one. Haha. Domoto Koichi is acting as a rookie police officer who always tries his best... some episodes are pretty touching. I'm nearing the end, so hope to get a good ending. "Remote"'s ending was really... disappointing.

Hopefully tomorrow passes fast.... so I can celebrate immediately!!! Haha... wish me good luck for OP!!!! >_< I'm getting nervous now....

Today is a wonderful day for me! :) Super happy... a great and really memorable birthday today.... Need to get Dionne to send me all the photos she got from Han Lyn.... must remember this day... haha...

I thought it was gonna be a normal day for me today. And I got an unexpected and pleasant surprise! Received loads of cool gifts, and even got to eat a delicious cake! Thank you so much, S20! (Especially the girls!!!!! ^____^)

And I realise I get tricked very easily. In fact, I got tricked twice today, and was in for two nice surprises. :) One by the girls from my class, and the other by Say Hwee... Say Hwee is evil... haha... she made me carry her super heavy textbook downstairs to return her, and then told me she didn't need it anymore. The book was super heavy!!! She could have thought of a better excuse... haha... but I loved her present too... haha.

Thank you to all the people who have wished me happy birthday today, and again thank you to all the people who have given me such great presents!!!!!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you! You all have made my day! :)

Tomorrow's Teacher's Day Celebration! Dunno what the buffet will be like... haha... wonder how they can cater to so many people....

Emo?

I like the starting a lot, but I dunno why, sometimes the starting just catches me by surprise.... like all of a sudden the music comes out...

Anyways, I haven't blogged for a long time. On Friday we had the National Day Celebration in school. It was overall alright... for one of the videos, the one where it says: "Compassion, Determination, Confidence... etc..." for the part where the people are playing netball inside or something, they used the "Liar Game" theme music, didn't they? Haha... it suddenly sounded really nostalgic. Haha...

At night, we watched the Olympics Opening Ceremony. It was the most spectacular and impactful performance I've ever seen, especially the start of the whole show. I must applaud Zhang Yi Mou, the chloreographer of the whole performance. (He really is so good at all these... even in movies...) The countdown and the drums part were the best performance I've ever seen! They were so co-ordinated! And there were 2008 people in total! Wow...

The middle part was fine though... those who don't know China's history would not really get it... it was about the creation of paper and the evolution of the Chinese words. But the fireworks totally rocked! It was so cool, and it was endless... China really spent loads of money on all these...

I kept watching the ceremony... even when the participants came in country by country (that's the most boring part, because there are 204 countries.), I'm still glued to the Tv. Couldn't miss Spain, Switzerland, Singapore and obviously China. I didn't know how they arrange the countries... and then after that I realize the arrange them by the number of strokes in their name. So Singapore was at the back...

Spotted Nadal from Spain... haha... so happy... they had the camera pointed at him... too bad he wasn't the flagbearer. Hope to catch his game in future... hopefully he beats loads of people... haha... From Switzerland, I spotted Roger Federer.... he's holding the flag, of course. He's the world number 1 tennis player. But soon, that position will be replaced by Nadal.... kukukuku...

Okay, enough of that. Singapore's flagbearer is Li Jiawei. Jiayou, Singapore... couldn't recognise any other faces. By the way, USA had loads of participants. China too... the one who bears the flag is Yao Ming, and the little boy from the Si Chuan earthquake was next to him. So cute, and you can really see the difference in height... haha.

After that, there's the torch relay thing. The last person to light the torch was Li Ning... He was raised up to the roof and had to run one round along the side of the wall to the torch. It must be really tiring, because he has to resist gravity, and still have to have a certain speed...

After the torch lighting, it's the fireworks again... beautiful fireworks... excellent performance... this is definitely a success. Haha... and we reached home at about 1am... haha... and my eyes did not leave the Tv at all for the entire performance plus arrival of participants plus ending part... (maybe only for a while... to get a drink... then rushed back... haha...)

Okay... that's all for Friday...

Saturday we watched the National Day Parade... quite a great performance too. Of course we should not compare it to the Opening Ceremony performance... the population size is already different. Was Nan Hua participating in it? I thought I heard the person announce it. I dunno... but if the people are Nan Huarians, then they are terrific! Haha... great co-ordination. :) I loved the sing-along session. It's nostalgic hearing all the songs played out again... though I didn't sing out loud... haha... The fireworks were amazing too... too bad I can't be there... aww...

One last thing... some people think my blog is emo.... hmm... That's really weird, because I didn't mean to be emo at all... Sure, the background is all black, but that's just because I happen to like the design up there. And there's the title of the blog that everyone says that it's emo... Hell Butterfly. I didn't even know the word "Hell" was emo.... haha... I just thought it's dark and mysterious. I'm quite attracted to that word... for example, when there's a drama or anime that starts with that word, like Hell Girl (Jigoku Shoujo), I'm tempted to watch it, because it probably is a very dark and cool anime/drama. Dots...

But this term came from the anime Bleach. Bleach fans probably know. A hell butterfly is a messenger that assists and delivers announcements to Shinigamis (Death gods). I loved that term, because it seems so beautiful and cool. (A butterfly from hell... like there's a sort of contrast there... so cool...) Furthermore, I loved the Japanese name translated from this term... which is Jigoku Chou. (That's my blog address name...) So there... nothing really emo there.... haha...

That's about it.

I'll probably stop blogging from now on, since the Promos are coming soon... time to start studying and not slack anymore... I realise that my Econs and Chem are terrible... have to get these two on the right track soon.... See ya... good luck to everyone in their promos in future... haha.

Days Gone By

Nothing much happened today. They've finally started Circular Motion for Physics. I can never understand this topic, so I'll have to listen more attentatively during lectures. Haha. PC was horrid today... sweated so much... and then had to go into the air-con room for Math. Worried that I'll catch a cold.

Mr. Kwek is gone... that's kinda sad... haha... Oh well. I saw my Math marks, and it has been declining really badly... need to buck up...

Argh... tomorrow is the Math lecture test, and I still have not studied for it at all. The worst thing is that, I haven't been doing any Inequalities and Differentiation questions! I seriously need to start doing later. Luckily I've settled my EOM already. Phew.

Tomorrow shall be a long day... I hope I get to go home at such an early time more often....

Loads of happenings these days... I shall elaborate on it now...

Sunday

Went to ACJC choir concert at Esplanade with Dawn M (from choir). We immediately spotted Say Hwee when the choir came out. The songs they sang were really creative... there was one song that they said it was supposed to be about a storm and they're supposed to make some creative sounds that indicate a storm, but what we heard were like yapping sounds of dogs? Haha... But it's really cool... Sakura was great... it had a really wholly (dunno how to describe) sound, especially the starting.. The Alumni Choir was terrific... the soloists were so powerful and so good at singing. There was one song that the college choir sang that was really beautiful that made me miss nan hua choir all of a sudden.

During intermission, I told Dawn about the Nan Hua choir's situation (heard it from Say Hwee), and then we got kinda depressed, but we didn't know what to do. Then I regretted telling her that during the intermission because it might spoil her mood later. Haha...

The ending of the second last song was great. Actually, the whole song was great. The guys were so funny, bobbing up and down. Overall, the concert was great!

After that, we waited for the 106 bus. While talking to Dawn, I saw Celine (I think it's her) from Pre-U Seminar. Is she from choir? So cool. But I didn't go and talk to her. Was thinking whether she's already forgotten about me, since we weren't pretty close. Haha. Then on the bus, figured that we can hitch a ride after Say Hwee and her family finished eating. So we alighted, went to Starbucks (didn't buy anything) and sat there and chatted. And then both of us thought this guy that just walked in looked like Ang Zhi Hao from 4/3 (is he from 4/3? Can't remember.) So when he came out of Starbucks, we were like staring at him. Then I was sure he was Ang Zhi Hao. Dawn suggested I say hi, but I didn't. Haha... probably already forgot about me. Haha... that's all.

Youth Day Holiday

Dionne, Dawn (not the one from choir) and Amirah came to my house.... haha... they wanted to dance, so we went down to the gym. I left them there, and went to play tennis with Amirah. Sadly, after a while, they were chased out, so they both came up to the tennis court to dance. Haha. It's the first time I saw them sweat more than me. Haha...

After that, there were too many people in the gym, so we went back to my house. They danced in the living room while Amirah and I went into the bedroom to play the computer. Watched a lot of videos, and played Hatch from eyezmaze. So addictive. It was so funny, because we needed hand-eye co-ordination. Haha... so funny... then we watched more videos. Finally introduced Amirah to Nagayan... yay, now she knows who's that... Loads of funny NewS videos... haha... quite fun... too bad the day ended too fast.

Dawn and Dionne can dance super well. Haha... And learn super fast too.

Today

Today is basically a super slack day. No PC due to the heavy rain. The stairs near the PE porch looks like a river with loads of rapids... And then the ground is pretty much flooded, which got many of our things wet (including my skirt... aww...)... We saw loads of strange things on a rainy day. There were water bubbling out of the drains like there's a boiling cauldron below. Haha. Something unfair happened... shan't elaborate on that... haha.. poor her...

During Math, we had this short little quiz. I didn't study, so obviously I wouldn't score very well for that. In fact, I've already forgotten Inequalities. Haha... Then after that, Dionne showed me this nostalgic dance video... realised how well Tan Min can dance... haha... so pro... she's very good at dancing. :)

Chem lecture was quite boring. I was spacing out while blindly copying the notes. Argh... Organic Chem isn't too interesting after all.

There was no CS today, so we get to go home early! Dionne was so happy, so she kept on singing when we were on our way out of school. This is the first time we get to go home so early... (okay, not really... haha...) Suddenly today we seem so free. That's all... see ya.

People who're not anime fans, you may ignore this, because you probably won't understand. I think only Amirah will understand a bit, but she might not too... haha... so this is basically ranting to myself.

I kept on thinking that yesterday/today was Kaito's birthday, but it's not. It's long over. (Did you know that he has the same birthday as the creator of Detective Conan? On purpose? Haha... who knows?) I'm starting to like Magic Kaito so much... and I even had a dream this morning about Kaito and Aoko and Shinichi and Black Organization. Surprisingly, this dream can actually be written into a fanfic... but many parts still don't make sense. Haha...

Argh... should have played "Chirarizumu" as my blog music on Kaito's birthday... that song is like totally dedicated to him. It's like it's his song. Haha...

Sad Day

Today was super depressing... well, only till the last part of the day. (But we did see our Math Common Test scores... wah, Dionne got really high marks... and she's still complaining... haha...) We had our Physics Common Test Paper 2... I would feel even more depressed if I had studied really hard (as in, practised all the questions, memorised all the definitions, understood everything) for it, and still dunno how to do some questions.

I don't know why, but I was quite nervous during the test. Haha... at first the questions were okay, then the Section B was the killer. I couldn't do the first question. Some hot air balloon question. Then the next one was the raindrops question... Wrote crap through it all... And then that perpetual machine thing... so weird... just wrote whatever that pops out into my mind.

And then after the test, turned out that most of the questions were taken from the TYS. I was quite disappointed, since in the end we'd end up doing TYS questions nearing the A-levels. Somehow I hoped that they'd actually give us questions that are of high standards so the A-levels would seem easier, but that kinda makes me feel stupid: If I can't even do TYS questions, why should I even ask for harder questions? Wouldn't my grades be even lower if they give super difficult questions? But I'd rather get stuck here and learn than get stuck during the actual A-levels. Argh, this is so contradicting. Whatever. But I really was kinda disappointed.

I think I'm gonna flunk this Physics test, like the other common tests... haha... I came home and after a while, I realised how to do the hot-air balloon question!!! I didn't even think of Upthrust... argh... dunno what I was thinking at that time... should have practised more on my concept and understanding...

Must study harder... if not, this term, I might not get a single A on my report card... that's what I'm afraid of... then my Econs and GP might be even worse...

Hopefully the Paper 1 will be easier and pull my marks up... hope to do well in Physics, but it's hard... haha...

I've finally decided to post again... been really lazy these days, although I keep on slacking. Today was quite depressing, but thankfully it ended early. Had Chem. Energetics test. Realised that I didn't really practise at all. I think I'll fail. My grades are like the stock market nowadays, ups and downs. So unpredictable. Chemistry's always been my horrible subject anyways. But Physics and Math are no better. Haha...

Shall have to practise more difficult questions tomorrow. But I'll probably start to slack again. Argh... can't motivate myself at all.

Hmm... my thoughts are all messed up now... haha... so I don't really know what to write... just typing out what pops out into my mind.

This week there were a lot of happenings. Changes in time-table. I'm so happy that we get to go home at 2pm nowadays. Yay, so early!

Had Physics SPA trial today... my results were close to Dionne's. Relieved. At first, I was really worried why my gradient turned out so huge, and why 10 oscillations take such a long time. Luckily everything turned out okay.

I've been using too much computer lately. Have to go cold turkey, if not I may just turn blind one day from too much strain of eyesight. Haha...

That's all... hmm... nothing to write about... haha.

Pre-U Seminar

Came back from Pre-U Seminar on Friday. I'd say this camp was pretty meaningful and insightful. It was not just presentations and talks, but there were events that helps you bond with the rest of your group as well. I don't have photos on any of those events though, except photos of my room in NTU, which I won't put up here.

Let me just elaborate on what happened in this 5-day camp. Super long post ahead... you have be warned. If you cannot bear with it, exit immediately.

Day 1:

Had to juggle with my huge luggage on the bus to NTU, but I managed. When I arrived at my room in the hostel, it was more cozy that I had expected. They had a huge table, and the bed was soft... (I had expected myself to be sleeping on mere wood, but there was a mattress) It was really neat and spacious there. They even had a mosquito net (or whatever it was called) on the windows, so I didn't really bother to use my insect repellent after that.

Waited for quite a long time for my roommate to come. I was silently debating in my heart whether to wait until her arrival or to go change into the JJ shirt first since I was sweating like mad, even though there was a fan up there. In the end, I decided to just go change before she came, but after that I realised she arrived while I was in the toilet. Her name is Shenna, and she turned out to be a really friendly and sociable girl (not to mention with a really nice smile), and she's from MJC. She actually knows Winnie from my tuition class. :)

Oh yeah, the toilets have a password that you have to enter before you go in, for security purposes. Pretty cool, huh? But troublesome as well. Haha...

After that we got to meet the rest of the group, who are all basically nice and friendly people. After that it was the ice-breaking games. There's this girl called Al-Olympia (cool name, right?), and she's a mixed American and Korean. So cool... she's really funny too.

Nothing much after that... shower and sleep. The bed was pretty comfy...

Day 2:

We had to wake up early and change into our formal attire with blazers. I realised that this whole seminar is all about eating. It's like we're eating every second. For Day 2, we ate breakfast from 6.30am to 7.30am, then there's a tea reception from 11am to 12pm. After that there're some light refreshments given from 2.45pm to 3.30pm. Dinner was from 7pm to 8pm. And then from 10pm to 11pm, we have supper. We had 5 meals in one day!!! This is seriously fattening.

For the Opening Ceremony, we had a Q & A session with Minister Vivian Balakrishnan. People could either ask questions through the microphones or via sms. It was pretty interactive. Adi asked a certain interesting question which I shall not elaborate more on. Haha... but it was pretty insightful that day.

That day we had Digital Chase. It's like an Amazing Race, but in digital style. We had to run all over the campus (can you believe it, the entire NTU campus) to find clues that lead us to solve a murder mystery. The clues are all embedded in 2D barcodes. You have to capture the barcode with the camera on the laptop to see the clue. It's super cool, and I was really looking forward to it, because I just love to such events, like finding clues and the decodding part (but NOT the running part). Thankfully, my group wasn't all that into running, so throughout the whole journey, we were just brisk-walking. It's fun though. We got to do a lot of things, and I was pretty hyped up.

Do you know there was a guy named Nan Yang from NJC? (I wonder if Tan Min knows him) Such a cool name. So while we're walking across the campus, some of the guys were like, "Nan Yang, lead us... this is your school after all!" (Something like that... I can't remember what exactly they said...) Then they were also saying that in future if he studies in NTU, he should just introduce himself and saying that he owns the school. Haha... So cool.

Day 2 was basically my most favorite day of the whole 5 days. Love the Digital Chase, although we didn't get to finish it.

Day 3:

We had some more parallel presentations. The schools presenting were RJC, PJC and SP. I especially liked RJC's presentation... one girl was really eloquent and the way she presented herself was really confident. The whole presentation was super professional, even that tragic video. Haha... There were loads of questions fired at RJC, for which the guy answered them all confidently. Really pro... I spotted some really outstanding people during all these presentations. There was the RJC guy who always asked really complicated and difficult questions, and then there was an NYP guy who grasped every opportunity to ask questions, and a PJC guy who's really eloquent at answering questions. And then there was the RJC girl who's really eloquent in her presentation.

The Panel Discussions were cool too. Ann Wee, one of the panelists, was extremely hilarious. And she was, 82 that year? I can't remember. She kept making the whole lecture hall laugh and clap. Haha...

Asian FilmFest was really funny. We watched the movie entitled "The Blossoming of Maximus Oliveros", which a gay movie. The whole hall was super responsive and kept on laughing at certain scenes. I loved the last part where Maxi ignored and walked away from Victor (whom he had loved before) and everyone cheered... Haha...

My court shoes' rubber sole came off almost completely... and I had to worry about what to do the next day. No one had superglue with them, so I called my mum, and she decided to buy another pair of shoes and then go to NTU to give them to me at night. I was pretty lucky, as stated by Shenna, I guess.

Day 4:

More parallel presentations. This time it's DHS, NP and VJC. Many questions fired at NP this time, because of their interesting topic. Singawood? Haha... I like the video. Recalled lots of Hollywood movies...

More panel discussions, and then after that it was the Sandcastle Challenge and East Coast Beach. I never thought that we'd be able to build anything out of the sand, but we did. We built a casino and a sports stadium of what we thought would like in a global city, home for all (the theme for this year's seminar). It's pretty unbelievable that we'd be able to build such things.

Then they said we'd have a Beach Dinner, and made it sound really mysterious, but in the end it was packed food. I ate Chicken Rice... haha... it was good though...

My group wanted to stay up the whole night since it was the last night we'd all be together, but I was really tired, so I went to bed first.

Day 5:

The final day. Closing Ceremony was kinda boring. They allowed us to sleep for 45 minutes in the auditorium. Haha... All the schools took their chances by taking photos with each other. After that it was a tea reception. We finished quite fast, and realised that we had to wait for another hour. So I basically chatted with Silvia from SAJC about school, and time flew by...

After check-out, I left NTU for my home. Had to juggle with my luggage on the MRT and bus again. And I'm especially mad at the 945 bus driver for driving so fast like he was running for his life, while I was standing, trying to keep my luggage from sliding to the sides of the bus when he's turning (with his speed unchanged). Why is he rushing so much?! Hadn't he learnt about Circular Motion? Either you reduce the speed or increase your radius. (Or not. Because I hadn't touched Physics for an entire week... until today.)

Choir Outing

On Saturday, after the Pre-U Seminar rehearsal, I went for the choir outing. It was really a lot of fun. I can't remember how many times I laughed that day. Teck Thong was like, super hilarious and lame. ...The "Nan Hua" joke.... dots... and Teck Thong and the tongs... haha...

Heard that Nan Hua people are very problematic when together... haha... hope that I'm not one of them...

The choir seniors were pretty nice... the food was great... and the games were really funny, especially Wacko. It's like super funny, especially with Teck Thong and Jessica... keep on calling each other's name. Haha... Ying Jie was hilarious too... haha.

We sang "Colours of the Wind" to the seniors. I think the soprano part can't really be heard, since it's only like me and Teck Thong... haha... and I'm kinda distracted too, with mass bombardment of the alto parts...

Too bad I don't have any photos.... they're all on Mrs. Tan's camera.

Today is the start of the Pre-U Seminar. I'll be going off at 10am later... and then staying at the NTU campus until Friday, so you won't be hearing from me anymore until Friday. Hope it's gonna be fun, and hopefully I make a lot of friends. Hope my bag isn't all that bulky, and that I don't get bitten by loads of mosquitoes... haha...

I'm freaking tired now... I just came back from Nan Hua, carrying the blazer the whole journey... Loads of people went back to Nan Hua... I saw Dawn M., other choir friends, and some of my class friends like Serena and Dacia... it's nice seeing them there... some really became prettier... haha...

Nevertheless, today is still quite a sad day... I dislike talking to strangers, and I did a whole lot of 'talking to strangers' today... and what made my mood worse, is that today is going to be a long day, and that it's going to be a longer day tomorrow... and that while I'm going to have 2 essay tests on Friday, the last day of school, Say Hwee and Dawn from choir both have no school on that day! Unfair... And Say Hwee is flying off to Vienna with her choir next week... wow...

I really want to lie down on my bed right now and sleep, because my eyes are on the verge of closing... but there's the PW survey due today by midnight... and I haven't started. PW always makes me feel depressed... haha...

I realise I've been complaining on and on today.... haha... oh well, life is full of complains... haha...

On a lighter note, holidays are approaching!!!! Finally have time to catch up with all my subjects... and practise more!!! >_< I realise I'm really lagging behind... haha...

Oh yeah, just to tell you guys... I'll be performing with my choir this Thursday, during J1s' Civics Lesson... Frankly speaking, the choir won't turn out as great as you would imagine a great choir would sound, and there's very few of us (less than 20, actually.), so the sound might not even travel very far... but we tried our best, so do give us your support, and applause is needed! Do clap even though you might not like it. It means a lot to us. Thanks. ^_^

Long Choir practice tomorrow... haha... I always grumble a lot before choir... but then once the choir starts, all the thoughts of unhappiness just disappear... Haha... Oh, and if you know anyone who likes singing in JJ, do promote the choir to them! >_< Thanks!

Let's talk about school then... actually there's nothing much to talk about... Well, some test results came back... Physics test results were quite unexpected. I seriously expected myself to get a single digit for the whole test... but in the end, I still failed. Haha... must not get grades lower than this anymore...

Math test too... I know I scored very badly... Mr. Kwek sort of implied that it was terrible. Haha... I dunno why, but I kinda slacked these few weeks. Just can't find the mood and motivation to study... uh oh... Oh well, my marks are always like the stock market... unpredictable...

Nothing much to talk about... Yay, no school tomorrow... I wanna watch loads of movies nowadays... awaiting Kurosagi movie in June!!!!

Just watch the kawaii Yamada Ryosuke's live performance "Asia no Yoru"... the one with the weird dance moves... and then I thought, "Ah... our Yama-chan is growing up..." Isn't that lame? Haha... well, he became more mature nowadays... although his height doesn't really show it at all... haha...

A strange thing happened today... I did my homework today, not knowing I was having a 38.4 degree Celsius fever... haha. But now I think I'm fine. So here I am.

I kinda predicted that I might have a fever yesterday night before I went to sleep. There was a massive headache throbbing, and it felt like I was going to have a fever soon, so there we go. I'm not sure how to explain it. Haha...

Right now, I'm in a post-fever mood... so what I'm writing now may not make sense....

Heaved a sigh of relief. Finally. Today is the day that everything important (this week) is over. Handed in PI, with the sarcastic comments again... whatever. Yay, finally, after so many times of fearing to let the teacher see it. Done. Next comes GPP though. I really want to slack, but Dionne's going to start discussing about it tomorrow. So fast. Can't relax at all. Haha... I shall try hard to be a leader, though I probably suck at it... I'm a slacker. Haha...

Chem SPA Trial (that I only know of today) and Econs test is over. I'm so convinced that I'll fail both. Sigh. Haven't taken a Humanities test for such a long time... the first 5 minutes was basically wasted by blanking out. Haha... shall try harder next time.... sigh...

Next week... more things to worry about. Physics test may come next week. (Not sure yet) Dynamics and Forces. Two scary chapters. Though I love free-body diagrams. Haha... My Physics teacher is sure that we'll do worse than the previous test. Sad. Why is he so demoralising? Haha...

There's also the next Math test... Graphing Techniques!!! I don't know anything about it at all! Argh... Then there's also GP test... this one is hard to study for.... argh...

Labour Day shall be a day for me to space out at home... nah...

I cannot believe how an i-weekly magazine can actually brighten my day today. But it did.

I mean, look at the cover... Yamapi, Oguri Shun, Tamaki Hiroshi, Shibasaki Kou, Aragaki Yui... all my favorite Japanese actors and actresses compiled into one magazine. And it costs only $2. It's like a dream come true.

And imagine my screams of delight (yes, screams... can you believe it?) when I read that the Kurosagi movie will be showing in Singapore in June probably. My dream has come true. Today has become a terrific day, all thanks to this magazine.

And another movie to look forward to in May is something about a shinigami, or death god. It seems interesting, and I might watch it. But the most important thing is still the Kurosagi movie. Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait. Thank you, i-weekly. Thank you, Singapore.

Haha... and I shall be over-excited...

Well, basically, the reason why I actually wrote all these out (even though I know that no one is really interested in all these), is because there is just simply nothing to write about school. School is basically boring and dull, and boring and dull. And my school, in fact, has managed to perform an amazing feat that I cannot believe... and alas, it has broken a record of mine. A new term starts... sigh. Back to school again. I've met most of my teachers now. So far, they're all okay... just the typical teachers... Well, I have a nicer Chemistry teacher now, but I'm still not sure whether she's good or not. Let's hope she's a good teacher. I prefer my previous Physics teacher, but the one now is pretty clear in his teaching, so I suppose he's quite good too. Hmm... I haven't met my Econs and Math teachers yet. Hopefully they're all nice teachers...

Choir auditions tomorrow... wish me luck... I suppose I'm going to join choir again... I've already had the experience of being in choir, so it should be easier that way. Tomorrow shall be another long day. Haha. Sigh.

I've found another rare fan of Princess Tutu, an anime which has a name that discourages people from watching it...

I'm going to start watching some new crazy and crack animes that make no sense but are really hilarious and interesting. I feel like watching such an anime nowadays. Haha... And thanks to a friend, who let me watch the first episode of The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi, I have fallen in love with it's craziness and insanity. (Seriously, I've never guessed that this anime contains so much craziness when I first looked at it.) So, anyone who wants me to watch a certain anime or drama, you'll have to force me to watch the first episode first. Yup. Now, I'll continue watching this, and move on to watching Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei as well, which is another crazy anime. Haha.

Okay, now onto some real stuff...

The March holidays are here! But I shall be busy as ever. I'm trying to catch up all those chapters that I'm having trouble with, and now Math and Econs are killing me, for some reason.

I had a low fever and a massive headache on Sunday, something that I've never had for ages... and that, unfortunately, caused me to skip tuition. I've just missed an important lesson... argh.

Next week, there'll be auditions for choir... I'm still not sure which cca I should join... Choir in my school now is rumored to be pretty pathetic... and getting bronze for the last SYF is pretty disheartening.

Hmm... what else? I suppose that's all. My mind's all blank now. Oh well. Ciao.

Today mass lectures were so boring. It seems that they're starting the whole thing again and teaching everything right from the start. For Econs, I kinda appreciate it, to listen to the introductions for all the other subjects is really a bore. Especially Physics, where I have to go through measurements all over again. Argh... GP was pretty funny today. We had a British lecturer halfway through the lecture. He talked about grammar, and about Singlish... He's quite a funny guy.

Watched L: Change the World. Those who haven't watched and will be watching in future, please do not read it. Spoilers ahead.

Haha... it was a great movie, but I was kinda disappointed at certain parts. Death Note is not supposed to turn out to be a scary movie, despite the numerous number of deaths. However, for this movie, I find myself closing my eyes through the dying scenes, especially when Maki's father died... with the smoke coming out and stuff... it's just so... eww... I really don't want to have nightmares, you know. And then turned out that the director for the movie was actually the same director for the movie "The Ring 2". No wonder.

The whole movie was pretty funny too, because you see L getting into contact with kids the first time, however some of the scenes seem to show how ridiculously low his socialising skills are, and this, to me, kinda showed L in a silly way... especially the part where he "straightened his back"... He's not as cool as in the first 2 movies. At least that's what I think. But I must say, Matsuyama Kenichi really did an excellent job in acting as L.

At the end of the movie, they got the Thailand boy to be Near. Haha... I knew it would either be Near or Mello. But isn't Near supposed to be an American or something? Oh well. Haha... But the little boy is pretty cute and funny...

Did anyone stay till the end of the credits? I did... and they only showed a very short scene. But oh well, that kinda confirmed his death...

Overall, this is a good movie, but I probably won't rewatch it thanks to those dying scenes. But those actors and actresses are so talented in acting. I must admit that even the actress for the crazy woman is really good. And I love the "Angel Crepe" van. Haha....

But this isn't the movie I'm anticipating the most this year. If the Kurosagi movie shows in Singapore, I would probably be jumping up and down, and be overly excited about it. Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait... Haha...

Weekends are here!!! Next week, we start mass lecture. I can't wait.... there's Yoga class instead of PC... which is kinda absurd. People are thinking about skipping, but I think the teachers will be more strict about it than in pae.

I'm still choosing to do the same subject combination, but I'm can finally be relieved from taking Chinese now. Haha...

Read Dionne's blog post. Hehe... seems that she hates JJ so much. But then it doesn't really matter to me, whether one hates it or not, since people have different opinions. I mean, the first time I went to JJ, I was complaining so much to almost everyone. I was like smsing everyone about how stupid they released us about 6pm for the first day, and how sudden they told us about camp, and how stupid and hateful that we have to buy an orange shirt so suddenly, etc... I was like, why are the other jcs so good, that they can release them so early for the first day, and their camp is not a stay-over camp, blablabla... haha. I'm sure loads of people hated JJ before they went there.

I always hate having camps, but then since there is no chance to avoid having the camp, and I was forced to pay $70 (which is really a lot.), so I decided, why not just accept everything and try to enjoy it, instead of complaining, so the $70 can be worth it. So... I had fun, and now my OG is all united and all.

But then, this is just me. Haha... if Dionne hates JJ so much, it's okay. Then I really hope that her appeal becomes successful, so she can have a better and happier life. Jiayou!!! All the best to her!!

Posting results out today. I stayed in JJ despite the fact that I put it as 4th choice. Guess the others have too much competition... even Nanyang.... haha. Oh well, I'm fine with anything... I'm actually quite happy, since I'm so used to the environment, and has already made so many friends... if I go somewhere else, I still have to deal with a new environment, new people to meet, and orientation. Argh... The other jcs are all quite far, so I'm probably not going to appeal... my humanities grade is now better than my science grades!!!! I'll probably land in arts if I appeal. No way.

But the only thing about JJ is that: It's a play-school. Which means... the teachers don't chase or force you to study. You're entirely on your own. It's your choice whether to sleep during lectures or listen... or do the tutorial...

So... since I'm going to stay in JJ, I definitely have to work hard... and not slack...

Happy belated Valentine's Day, people! Haha...

Today wasn't much of a bad day. We all skipped Chinese to do Chemistry, because most didn't really do... Then for Econs and Physics lectures, it was really boring. I got really easily distracted because it was just. so. boring. My mind wandered off somewhere else during Econs... it's so hard to concentrate. Sigh. But I think I can understand it better now... The new method that JJ used is quite effective. Hehe... at least it makes me alert now.

Flintstone came to school today just to see our Physics teacher, Mr. Ler. Haha... he finally came today, and then he skipped every single lesson except for Physics tutorial. I suppose we all like Physics tutorial now so much. But then, we didn't get to go through the tutorial answers again. They all decided that since it's the last time that we'll be seeing Mr. Ler, then we should 'treasure the time we have left' and... play games. Ooookay. So out of 4 or 5 Physics tutorials, only during 1 tutorial did we actually really get down to work... the rest were all spent playing games or chatting.

At first, Adelene taught us some kind of game... some 'cat catch mouse' game... then everyone was like, "I can't believe I'm playing this game!"...because it was so lame. Even Mr. Ler played. Haha... Then after that we played the 'Polar Bear' game... it's quite fun... if you're one of the 3 polar bears, then you have to kill a villager, and people have to find out who is the polar bear... I got a chance to be the polar bear... but I wasn't suspected! Yay... lame. Haha.

We're really reluctant to go for Chem, because we didn't like the teacher, and it is the last period for the day. Imagine having to spend one and a half hours with your least favorite teacher, when you have the choice to skip the lesson. Most of them were determined to skip, and thus went home. So in the end, including me, only 6 people went for the Chem tutorial....

But it wasn't too bad. The teacher is strict, but she's not fierce. Well, she smiles occasionally. It's just that whenever we ask her something, she will ask us back, "What's your approach?" before she gives the answer, and then guides us through how to find the answer... so no one really dares to ask her anything. But today wasn't that bad. She taught us a new method, which was so much easier than writing half-equations... and then gave us some examples to do... though she kept on walking around and looking at what we're writing. But I did get to learn something useful, so that's better than skipping, I guess.

Mass Skip-lesson Day

Monday is our class's skip-lesson day. There'll definitely be at least one subject where most of us will skip. It's either Econs, Chinese or Math. Today, however, I did not skip a single subject! That's something to be proud of. Haha... just kidding. Li Jie wants to check out the Chinese lesson today because she did not know whether she should take it or not, so I accompanied her there. Including us, a total of 4 students were present for Chinese. Amazing, huh?

Last week, loads of people tried to skip Econs. (Luckily I didn't) And then the Econs teacher complained to our Civics tutor, who spoke to those who skipped, and now they had to prepare some sort of apology letter to the Econs teacher.

And then, today, quite some people skipped Math too, because we all know she's just going to go through the Math test on Binomial Expansion that we took last week, so people don't see the point of going there. We're not going to be taught a new topic anyways, because now the teachers are revising the sec 4 chapters, like Completing the Square and Factor Theorem.

At the end of the day, I was depressed. I need only 1 more mark to get a A1 for the Math test!!!! >_< Argh... And all the mistakes were due to careless mistakes!!!! I'm so mad right now... really need more practice on binomial stuff.... sigh...

I have a feeling that I'm going to be sick soon... I already have a throbbing headache today... it may get worse tomorrow. But nevertheless I still have to go for PC. Sigh... But for GP, we're going to watch a movie, thankfully... the title is "Hotel Rwanda"... about some genocide stuff... I'm not so excited on seeing so much blood and gore. Tomorrow shall be an overly boring day for me. Wish me luck. Bye.

Today wasn't that much of a bad day as I had expected to be... It's Tuesday again, and Tuesdays always suck on my timetable. Haha...

Well, there was P.E.. I kept praying for it to rain, but while we were running our 3 rounds, there was only a small drizzle, and no rain at all. But the weather was cool, and the sun was covered by the clouds, I think, so I didn't feel that bad while running. I didn't feel tired at all when I was running today! But I did feel a bit nauseous after the run while I was playing Captain's Ball. But after a while it was alright. There was no Nagayan-lookalike today, sadly. Haha...

Econs lecture was okay today. The lecturer was a female, and her voice doesn't make me sleep, fortunately. I was actually able to understand what she was talking about! Yay.

After Econs was lunch. OG meeting again. Haha. We're planning to wear black tomorrow for the Chinese New Year celebration. Oh well. I wasn't looking forward to Chem. Practical, but it turned out okay afterwards. I didn't really get scolded... but the teacher really is strict. Sigh. And I finally know how to do titration correctly! There's just so many things to take note of. Sigh.

GP was great, because we can go home right after the test, which was just a sort of application question. All we had to do is write our opinions and stuff. Most of us finished before the duration, and so could go home early. Li Jie and some of my OG members went to play tennis at the tennis court in school though. I basically went home to slack. Haha...

Last Day

Finally, today is the last school day of the week. Sigh... what a relief.

Chem was a disaster today, and we even got released early because of our failure to respond the teacher... or apathy, as our GP teacher puts it. Haha...

But Physics was really fun. The 1 and 1/2 hour tutorial session feels really short. My teacher gave us a lot of examples to do, and that's something good. I find deriving all those units very fun. Physics rocks. ^_^

Hmm... the rest of the day was okay... Planning to go back to Nan Hua on Chinese New Year celebration. Can unite with all my friends again. Haha...

I'm having a Yamada Ryousuke craze all of a sudden. He just seemed to be so kawaii all of a sudden. Dunno why. I just hope the next episode of One Pound Gospel comes out soon, so I can watch more of him. Hehe...

Something depressing happened today, but I don't feel like talking about it, so... I'll forget about it. Haha...

Chinese New Year Approaching...

I am looking forward to this Chinese New Year... because that means I can take a break from PC lessons, and Chem. Practicals... Haha... Well, I suppose I really hate PC and Chem Prac. this much.

I'm still deciding whether to continue with Econs or changing to Geo during JAE... any advice, anyone?

Today was not too bad a day. I wasn't looking forward to PC, of course, but I did not feel as sick as on Tuesday, because we didn't do so many exercises, and today was basically frisbee-playing after 3 rounds of running. And I, was obviously very bad at frisbee-playing. Sadly, I could neither catch nor throw properly. So I gave up. Haha.

Tuesday's PC wasn't too bad either, except the fact that I grew sick afterwards and threw up. But then, there was always something to look forward to during PC on Tuesday... the Nagayan-lookalike. I saw him this Tuesday again, and he looks more and more like Nagayan! Haha... I suppose I am going crazy now... I should have to stop this Nagayan obsession now.

Today was basically a slack day... haha. For Physics Practical, we did not go to the lab at all, but sat in class, and chatted with our Physics teacher. He's really a friendly and sociable guy, and very interesting and funny too... haha... My Physics teachers never fail to disappoint me... haha...

Then for GP, we watched this movie... about the mass shooting in a high school in Colorado. It was really sad, and some of the parts are pretty ironic... and some parts were basically anger-triggering and maddening. I think it's quite thought-provoking too...

Then the reason why I'm home so early, is because I skipped Chinese lesson. Well, almost the whole class intended to, so I decided to follow them, since I wouldn't be taking Chinese in future anyways... it'd be much better to go home and get all those homework done, don't you think? Oh well...

I shall stop here now. Tomorrow, there's 2 and 1/2 hours of Physics to look forward to... haha... and we're finally going to start discussing some Physics for the first time in the tutorial... Well then, goodbye.

Came online to scan the Time Magazine thing... for the summary homework. Imagine my horror when I realized I had not done that...

Imagine my even greater horror when I discovered that tomorrow is Tuesday.

And Tuesday in my time-table is not a good day. Tuesday means that there will be PC (or PE) and Chem. Practical on the same day. Great. My most-disliked lessons of all... Even Econs is not as bad as them.

Let's hope Tuesday ends soon... Wednesday, fortunately will be a great day... because it's so slack. Haha... I'm a lazy girl.

The results are out. My L1R5 is 14. Unbelievable actually. The subjects I'm most scared about, I got A... the subjects I'm most confident about, I got B... My gosh.

I got A2 for my English and (Something I had never gotten in any exam at all...) Combined Humanities!!!! >_< Impossible!!! Then, I got B3 for my Physics and A. Math... it's even worse than the Prelims... -_-...

And what's maddening is that I got B3 for Biology too... and I really did not study that subject at all.... I totally gave it up, and went to take the exam with the thought of crapping the whole thing through... and in the end, I got the same grade as Physics (my strongest subject) for Bio... Argh. Is it a miracle, or what?

There were some friends who cried... and none of my friends actually went really delighted... I suppose the clever ones sorta expected it... and then the others who sorta deproved (is there even such a word?) by a bit, became demoralised. Oh well. I'm never good at comforting people. Jiayou anyways, everyone!

When I saw my results for the first time, I really felt nothing. It's as if I entered a state of oblivion. Haha... And then I saw my L1R5, and heaved a big sigh of relief. What I felt was: Hey, I improved!!! I can stay in JJ!

And then, there were those good friends who had their report slips full of As.... for example, Tan Min. -_-lll Argh... Sheryl and Dawn M... came in as top performers... wow.

Okay... at least I can still stay in JJ... I'm already getting used to it anyways... plus there are really nice seniors there... My OGLs rock!!!

Now that this burden is gone, I can finally relax.... Loads of nice movies and dramas coming this year... I haven't watched National Treasure... and now there's more...:

- Honey and Clover drama...
- Proposal Daisakusen ep. 12 and special

And loads more.... right now these are the only ones I can think of.... and they're all Japanese dramas and movies... haha.

The Day has Come

Today is the day... argh... the ultimate nightmare...

O-levels results will be out today!!! I'm in a such a nervous and scared state that I don't even know what the heck I'm going to write...

I just hope my English doesn't fail me... as well as my SS and Geo... and my Chem...

The time is coming... argh.

I am now entering a state where I don't feel anything or care about anything.... it's as if I don't feel anything at all.... argh. See ya... bye.

Bad Day

Today has been a really bad day... except for the fact that I saw someone who looks like Nagayan... again.

I don't get it, but I seem to be seeing Nagayan everywhere. I suppose this is the Nagayan obsession. For those who don't know who that is, it's Nagayama Takashi from the Bleach musical. He rocks... because he's kawaii... and short. Haha...

Anyways, I was on MC during PE, so I was working on my GP, when the J2 guys came to the PE porch to have their pe lesson, which they have to do chin-ups. At that time, I wasn't really noticing anyone, but was just interested in how they'll do, and decided to watch. And then after a while, there was this boy who did something (won't elaborate in detail... in case the person is reading this blog... although it's unlikely)... and smiled. It wasn't really the smile that I noticed, but it was his smile plus the action that he did along with the smile. (Okay, this is really weird. Oh well.) That action made he look like Nagayan a lot!!!!

And after that I kept observing him... and he really looks like Nagayan. Wow. It's not his looks (he looks a bit weird, actually...), but it's the way he acts and smiles. Wow.

I never thought I'd find another Nagayan look-alike other than Peter Ho. Oh well. I suppose I won't be seeing him anymore... since he's a J2. Haha.

Okay, for the rest of the day, I probably won't dwell too much about it, because it's plain unlucky and bad. Chem practical was a disaster. I do not like my teacher at all. She's so fierce and scary. And then I don't like my Econs teacher... she really can't explain anything right, can she?

But... I really like my Physics teacher. He's so funny, and friendly as well. At least he's approachable. Haha. I always like my Physics teachers... yay.

Bad news: GCE O-levels results out this Thursday. Good luck to everyone, and myself. Really hope I don't get more than 20 points.

Good news: Death Note movie 3, or otherwise known as L special or L movie or whatever, is coming out in Singapore soon! Let's hope the Kurosagi movie will come out in Singapore too... haha.

I'm back to blogspot again, after a great long time of abandoning it. So here I'll start anew (for the zillionth time) and another blog is born!!!

... I'll probably start to abandon it after half a year... whatever. I'll never learn my lesson. Haha...
